Fall 2019. I had just graduated from university in Singapore, met my future husband, and decided to move to Toronto.

I had no idea what was waiting for me. A few months later, COVID changed the entire world.

Fast forward to 2023, we moved to Florida. Married, with children, and a completely different life from the one I had imagined when I first left Singapore.

Sometimes I think about how differently everything could have turned out if I’d made just one decision differently.

7 years, several countries, a marriage, two kids, and a whole lot of growing up later.

Have you ever made one decision that changed your entire life?

2 months left of 2026.

Not waiting for January 1st to start working on my goals.
More discipline, less procrastination. More action, less overthinking.
I’ve got a lot I want to accomplish and it’s only up to me to keep going.

Same life, completely different mindset.

A year ago, I couldn’t have imagined how much would change. Still figuring things out, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
Anyone else looking back at last October and realizing how different life feels now?

Some things you learn to accept, but that doesn’t mean they stop hurting.

P.s my parents are alive and well.

Does anyone else know this feeling ?

Our first Trunk or Treat! 🎃🐾

Three years ago, we celebrated our very first Halloween in the US. Fast forward to today, and I’m volunteering at my kids’ daycare, decorating our car, and helping create memories for other children! And you know what? I’m actually pretty proud of myself.

A few years ago, I probably would have been too shy to volunteer, worried about doing something wrong or simply stepping outside my comfort zone.
I was nervous at first, but seeing all the little ones excited about their costumes, the decorated trunks, and the effort every parent put into this event made it so worth it.

One thing I absolutely love about raising my kids in America is the sense of community. Parents showing up, getting involved, and creating these experiences together. And I love that I’m becoming someone who doesn’t just watch from the sidelines anymore.

Already looking forward to next year! 🎃

So often the perfectionism results in procrastination. As a parent you have to learn to trust the process and seize the opportunity. Also, reflect and celebrate small wins.

A little mobility set to feel better and spend better quality time with my sons. 🥺😍

The weight loss was a consequence, not the beginning. 6 months ago I was in my worst shape mentally and physically. Navigating separation with family, loosing our dog, navigating my son’s diagnosis and just surviving daily. I started letting go of fear, guilt, self-doubt, and everything that had been holding me back to protect my peace.
And somewhere along the way, my body started changing too.

Since this is a new page, I’m doing a throw back to an event we had in May. For anyone that will tell me that it’s hard to get out of the house, make friends, be a part of the world again… I will say that I know, I understand and I relate, but this in the reel is out MOM Group! Yes, it’s a constant work in progress, we all keep rediscovering that we like fashion, and we like gala dinners, we like sport and books, we like connecting to nature and we also like bubbles🥂and jets 🛩️ !

All that is completely normal in a supporting environment. However, the only person that can change your environment is you! ☄️💫

All my life I tried avoiding conflict, sometimes at the expense of my comfort, health or money. Pretty much only when I got kids I realized I don’t want them to feel the way I feel.

Motherhood challenges you but also heals you in all possible ways.

Real & raw. Life how it is. But habits win over discipline. Not only for myself but also for my kids I have to build healthy habits day after day.

Keep going, no matter what. And one day without even realizing it something new and scary becomes routine ❤️‍🩹 💪🏻

To ever girl in her come back era,

I see you, I hear you, I support you. It doesn’t necessarily get better ..but you learn to deal with it, move past it, get over it. And then you realize that you’re no longer the person who needed saving. You’ve become the person who can get herself through anything. by @back_to_veronica
