Azula’s been picking things up pretty quick 😮‍💨⚡️ working on position changes, movement, and some street boundary training. she’s fast af and catches on quick, but rn I’m not doing too much structured training with her. just building the foundation little by little and letting her be a puppy, explore, and gain confidence while she grows. no rush, everything in time #apbt #dogtraining #pitbull #dogsofinstagram #puppy by @backendzpending

Next meal for my two dogs…Keeping both bowls packed with a mix of whole-food ingredients + their regular food.

Dr. Marty’s Premium Origin Original Recipe: turkey, beef, salmon, duck, goat milk, beef liver, turkey liver, turkey heart, flaxseed, sweet potato, egg, pumpkin seed, apple, blueberry, carrot, spinach, dried kelp, ginger, salt, sunflower seed, broccoli & kale.

Added in these bowls:
🥩 Open Farm Surf n’ Turf patty
🥩 Raw beef chunks(pot roast)
🎃 Pumpkin
🥒 Cucumber

Different portions for each dog, but both getting a good mix of protein and variety. Just building on the foundation and keeping their meals interesting. by @backendzpending

Building focus with both of them 🐾

Ori working focus heel + staying locked in while I add distractions right in front of him. Azula working source focus with food on the floor and learning to stay connected to me instead of making her own choice.

June throwback with Orio ,Working on position changes and street boundaries while he was young. Proofing down-stay with both of them. Starting to add more duration while slowly bringing in distractions. Ori definitely still needs work when there’s food around or other dogs, so I’m keeping it controlled and building him up instead of rushing it.

With Azula, I’m just starting to have her hold the down for a few seconds at a time and slowly adding duration. I’m also trying to remember to lure a little higher and get her comfortable keeping her head up, so we can eventually start working toward a focus heel. I catch myself forgetting since this is my first dog I’m planning to teach a true focus heel to, but I’m learning as I go too. Meal prep for my 18 month old boy + 4 month old girl 🥩🐕‍🦺

Trying to keep their meals nutrient-dense and give them some variety instead of feeding the exact same thing every day. Today we go Instinct frozen raw lamb meal 16oz, 90/10 raw beef mince, Arctic char with the skin, supplements, Open Farm Surf & Turf freeze-dried patties, bison liver, Dr. Marty’s Premium Origin, plus pumpkin puree.

I like mixing different proteins, organs, fish, and whole-food ingredients so they’re getting a wider variety of nutrients. The Arctic char gives them extra omega-3s, especially with the skin, while the liver adds organ meat and the pumpkin gives some fiber.

Still learning and dialing in what works best for both dogs as they grow. They’re both at completely different stages, so I’m paying attention to their individual needs instead of just feeding them the same exact way. 🐺🥩#pitbull #bully #apbt #dogsofinstagram #dog by @backendzpending

Working on contact heel + position changes, mainly getting him comfortable moving his rear end while keeping those front feet planted. Just building that rear-end awareness and cleaning up his footwork.

Also trying to only feed when he’s fully touching my side in heel, so he learns to stay tight and in position for the reward. Gonna start protection work with dude soon, so tryna get his OB a lil better and tighten up the foundation first. #bully #fypシ❤️💞❤️ #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dog by @backendzpending
