Still in awe of what God has done 🤍We just wrapped our very first Last Lap Foundations: Patterns of Attachment cohort.For six weeks, singles and dating couples from our local church showed up for real conversations about dating, relationships, and how we’re wired to connect, all through a biblical lens. Some walked in guarded. Some walked in tired of guessing. This year held both abundance and stretching.Becoming a father.Walking through transition with my wife’s layoff.Starting a new business.Learning how to lead, love, and show up in ways I’ve never had to before.And through all of it God has been faithful.Not just in provision, but in presence.What’s marked me most this year isn’t what I’ve achieved…it’s what I’ve been held through.By my wife who is the heartbeat of our home.By friends and family who didn’t just celebrate me, but covered me.By pastors and community who reminded me who I am when I forgot.I’m realizing more than ever:secure attachment isn’t just something I teach… it’s something I learning to live.To be known/ imperfect and still chosen.To be supported without having to perform.To be honest about where I am and not lose connection.At this point in my life—that matters more than any win, title, or milestone.I’m a product of grace and good people.Both changed my life.Thank you Jesus for your faithfulness.And thank you to my people for walking with me.Here’s to another year of becoming. by @backtoattachment
