Feeling like it’s been a moment since I made an arrangement of flowers. Things are extra spicy and so 2 bouquets were necessary. Delphine helped and she barely had to headbutt my phone at all to get me to add a picture I took of her checkin out the roses. by @baconmethod

2 months ago I was walking on the sand in Seaside, OR. Now I’m enjoying a trek out to the coast of NC in 73F and I couldn’t be more happy. Out in downtown Cary, NC is a such a fun, delicious, and inclusive space. The ownership and staff were positively delightful and they together establish a warmth that is honestly heartfelt.
Thank you @showmeyourrbf !

I encountered some feelings when I went to lavatory, of all places, which had walls covered in framed statements and picture. Very pulp, very direct. I love the energy.
What gripped me the most was the unavoidable messages about safety. “In my own vessel I am safe and if I don’t feel safe, I can call someone.”

I wasn’t permitted to explore my individual identity growing up and I also didn’t have any safe spaces. For most of my adult life I have listened to the internal messages that naturally and logically developed from trauma in my youth.
This year I left an abusive relationship because I wanted to find and develop safe spaces for myself and not end my own life.

Most of the time I feel like I don’t belong here alive. Most of the time I avoid future plans.
I am doing all that I can to change how I think and feel in this regard; and, the atmosphere at RBF was healthy to my revolution.

You are safe.

Trazodone: How I Learned to Love a Road Trip with 2 Cats. Part 2 of 4.

In this portion of Adam’s Odyssey, we take the more arid and BUTTEful aspects of Wyoming especially a foggy crowned Devil’s Tower! I traversed the entire breadth of South Dakota with views of the Black Hills, visits to not one but two legs of the nuclear triad. (shown: the B1B, the B52, a wing mounted nuke, a minuteman I missile, the minuteman national park center, with views of were thousands of silos once existed) I plan to return later to visit an actual silo that has a self guided tour. Finishing the journey on Friday we’re at rooftop of The Warrior Hotel in Sioux City which was an interesting place…. The legendary “aroma” of the city luckily didn’t penetrate into the rooms.

The cats are very much doing ok, Theon mainly hunkers down either right behind me in a cubby on the floor or on the seat in the middle. Delphine likes to sleep wherever. Her new favorite spot is slackjawed up against the instrumentation console and secure behind the dash display. For literal hours she will sleep there. And they have both gotten very good at stabilizing themselves actively in the vehicle with their limbs as I maneuver the vehicle and introduce them to gentle G-forces.
Honestly consumer reports should rate vehicles on the ease of which unsecured occupants can handle and brace themselves under normal driving conditions, acceleration and deceleration and braking and rolling.

BLESSED & OBSESSED with the Glitz and Glam event at Fashion Week Spokane. The designs were tops, the models were flawless and immaculate, and the vibes were warm and welcoming.
