Some things in life get sweeter with time… and Empowered Moms is one of them! 💕

What a beautiful day of connection, celebration, and filling our cups alongside so many incredible warrior women!

I feel so blessed to have participated in this year’s Empowered Moms event in so many meaningful ways, especially sharing our global Daily Self-Love practice with a room full of women who spend so much of their lives pouring into others.

And to my sweet friend Emily… 💗 Thank you for trusting me in so many capacities, for our beautiful friendship and sisterhood, and for continuing to create spaces where women feel seen, celebrated, and supported. Watching you grow, shine, and SHIMMY across that stage brings me so much joy! 💃✨

Seeing familiar faces, celebrating local women-owned businesses, and making new connections reminded me how powerful it is when women come together with intention.

I asked Monica one simple question. Her answer made me think about how much of our childhood we carry into adulthood.

I loved spending time with @badewithmic, Monica Curtis Bade, a gifted wordsmith and someone I consider a t r u e advocate for humanity.

We talked about our younger selves, the masks we learn to wear, and how our past experiences shape who we become.

One thing we both recognized? Sometimes, on the other side of resilience, we discover a deeper capacity for empathy.

And why am I grateful for my yesterdays, even the difficult ones?

A pen. A mic. A life she writes and then lives.

Mic is a writer, speaker, and producer with one job: waking women up.

She created the BADE™ Method (Be Anything. Do Everything.) and co-founded HERstory Night, a live storytelling event. She writes the truths women feel now and carry long after, then builds the rooms where those truths get said out loud.

At the heart of her work is one belief: women are the most underutilized resource in the world.
