it’s been a week without my sweet molly and i don’t think i’ll ever heal from this.

on monday, august 3, 2026, i took molly in to the vet for a quality of life exam. she was skin and bone. the vet said she had no muscle. literally just skin and bone. it broke my heart. no matter how much molly ate and drank water and devoured treats, she just never gained wait. the vet said that in her opinion, keeping her around would practically be torture. that’s the last thing i wanted for my sweet babygirl. she couldn’t keep her balance and would sometimes have seizures.

molly lived to be 20 years old. she was my first pet. i got her when i was 6. my mom surprised me one day when picking me up from after school daycare with molly in her hands. i remember being so excited to have a kitty. she was my best friend. i would tell everyone that i had a daughter. because i did. molly was a daughter to me. i raised her. loved her. just like a mother would.

i don’t know how long this grieving will last, but i dont think it will let up anytime soon. friends and family say to get another kitty, but its not that easy. losing a pet you used to sleep with every night and cuddle and give love to constantly is a very hard concept to wrap my mind around.

i know molly is in heaven with God, maggie, minnie, & ringo. i also know she’s with michael, which fills my heart even more to know that she’s with him. she’s also with my nana and pop pop and my other grandma, and my aunt. i know they will love on her until i get there.

i will be with you soon, molly, it may just be a while before i do so. please wait for me at the entrance to heaven. i promise when i get there that i will never let you go ever again. by @baidani99

I visited @michaeljackson ‘s grave yesterday.

I truly felt overwhelmed being here.
It was beautiful because it was just me, @angel._byl3r and @yourfairlylocalcopycat. We sat there for a few minutes in silence and just admired all the small little things people left for Michael.

It warms my heart to see that people have a heart and still love Michael, even though he’s gone.

He will forever be in my heart, no matter what❤️

I can now watch it at home whenever I want whenever I miss Michael ❤️ I’ve seen the movie a total of 15 times since it came out ❤️ Love it more and more each time. @jaafarjackson You channeled your uncle perfectly and I can’t believe how amazing you did in this film. No one else could have portrayed Michael as perfect as you did. I am so proud of you! Here comes your Oscar! You deserve it!
