Today, I’m sharing a piece of my heart with you.
I named the book Bint Maryam.
It holds stories I lived, and memories I was raised on,
and a mother’s hand that taught me that cooking is love… and that homes are built around the table.
I dedicate it to your soul, Maryam, and to every home that feels like ours. ❤️

Bait Maryam has received the Michelin Bib Gourmand for the fifth year in a row.

Bait Maryam began in our family kitchen and grew into a home for so many. Every dish that leaves our kitchen carries Maryam’s touch and the love we were raised on.

This recognition belongs to all of you, to my team who cook with their whole hearts, and to every guest who walked in and felt at home.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🩵

For the second year, Sufret Maryam has been awarded the Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide.

At home, a sufra is what you set for the people you love most. We built Sufret Maryam to feel exactly like that for every guest who walks in. Being recognised by Michelin again tells us that food cooked with heart finds its way to everyone who tastes it.

This joy belongs to all of you, to my team, and to every guest who sat at our table and made it their own.

Thank you for being with us 🤍

I’m so happy to finally share with you the English edition of Bint Maryam. 🤍

Inside these pages, you’ll find stories from my childhood, memories of home, our culture and heritage, and so much of my mother in every chapter.

And, of course, you’ll find the authentic Palestinian recipes I grew up with, prepared the way my mother taught me and passed down with the same love and care.

This book holds a very special part of my story, and I’m so happy that more of you can now make it part of yours.

Bint Maryam is now available to order through the website. Link in bio. by @bait.maryam

Two women, two stories, one table.
This October, Chef Salam Dakkak of Bait Maryam joins My Café founder Sawsan Baluch for the first edition of At the Table — a Four Hands dinner bringing together two women whose approach to food is deeply rooted in family, culture and the joy of bringing people together.

For one evening, their stories come together through a menu created especially for My Café Marassi.
