A BIG congratulations for all our B.A.L.A athletes representing QLD at the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships in Perth 🏐🔥
ㅤ
36 B.A.L.A athletes represented QLD and walked away with wins across multiple divisions.
ㅤ
But more than the results - watching these athletes compete at a national level, representing their state, and doing it with the character and commitment they bring every single week at training - that's what this is about!
ㅤ
To every athlete who made the trip, gave everything on that court, and wore QLD colours with pride - we couldn't be more proud of you 🤝
ㅤ
Special mention to our two MVPs - Juliet Clarke (U17 Girls) and Charles Davis (U17 Boys) ⭐
ㅤ
Great photo @rogue.gun

Not sure where you fit? Here's how it works 🏐
ㅤ
The B.A.L.A pathway is designed to meet you where you are and take you somewhere better.
ㅤ
It starts at FOUNDATIONS - fun, fundamentals, confidence. Perfect for younger athletes just getting into the game.
ㅤ
From there, NEXT - building your full skill base and finding your feet as a real player.
ㅤ
Then ASPIRE - consistency, game strategy, position specialisation. This is where it gets serious.
ㅤ
And for those who are ready to push to the highest level - ADVANCE.
ㅤ
Every step of the way, you're surrounded by coaches who know what they're doing and teammates who push you.
ㅤ

Lead Coach of B.A.L.A Townsville, @jordon_vilaysack had the incredible opportunity to learn from the Men’s and Women’s National Team Coaches - Russ Borgeaud, Dan Ilott, and Brendan Garlick (aka Bomber) and at the Australian Institute of Sport 🇦🇺
Coach Jordy was able to assist the National Training Centre groups as well as being apart of some of the Men’s and Women’s Volleyroos 🦘sessions. Here are his reflections from the experience!

“Attending the National Training Centre program at the AIS showed me the standard, detail and professionalism required in a high-performance environment. I learnt that coaching at this level is not just about technical knowledge, but about creating the right environment, building strong relationships, and constantly challenging athletes and yourself to improve.”

We know coach Jordy is excited to take this knowledge and continue developing and raising the level of Volleyball in Townsville! Congratulations Jordy👏🙌 and thank you coaches for the great opportunity. More to come! 💪

Aspire is where good athletes become serious ones 🏐
ㅤ
Consistency. Game strategy. Position specialisation.
ㅤ
The details that separate players who plateau from the ones who keep climbing.
ㅤ
If you've been in Next and you're ready for more - this is your next step.

At B.A.L.A™, everything comes back to one word 🏐
ㅤ
Kaizen.
ㅤ
A concept that means continuous improvement.
ㅤ
Not perfection.
ㅤ
Not overnight transformation.
ㅤ
Just the commitment to being a little better today than you were yesterday. Every session. Every rep. Every week.
ㅤ
It's the foundation of everything we do - and it shows up in eight ways 👇
ㅤ
Assume nothing.
ㅤ
Challenge the status quo.
ㅤ
Find a way.
ㅤ
Make it better.
ㅤ
Ask why.
ㅤ
Be creative.
ㅤ
Everyone has a voice.
ㅤ
Never stop improving.
ㅤ
These aren't just words on a wall. They're the reason our players keep showing up, keep pushing, and keep growing - on the court and off it.
ㅤ
This is the culture we're building. This is what B.A.L.A™ stands for 🔥
