Lead Coach of B.A.L.A Townsville, @jordon_vilaysack had the incredible opportunity to learn from the Men’s and Women’s National Team Coaches - Russ Borgeaud, Dan Ilott, and Brendan Garlick (aka Bomber) and at the Australian Institute of Sport 🇦🇺
Coach Jordy was able to assist the National Training Centre groups as well as being apart of some of the Men’s and Women’s Volleyroos 🦘sessions. Here are his reflections from the experience!

“Attending the National Training Centre program at the AIS showed me the standard, detail and professionalism required in a high-performance environment. I learnt that coaching at this level is not just about technical knowledge, but about creating the right environment, building strong relationships, and constantly challenging athletes and yourself to improve.”

We know coach Jordy is excited to take this knowledge and continue developing and raising the level of Volleyball in Townsville! Congratulations Jordy👏🙌 and thank you coaches for the great opportunity. More to come! 💪

Officially expanding the wolves family internationally 🐺🇨🇦

So excited to be making this move to @nwp.wolves in August this year! A bit worried about the -40 degree weather though…

A big thanks to @caitlinodea__ for taking a chance on me back in my first year playing. I will never forget that. The whole Bettenay family over at @bala.academy_ for pushing me to try college. @wolvesvolleyballau for giving me an awesome volleyball family over the past 4 years. And thanks to my parents for spending crap loads of time and money on this sport.
