Just hanging around! 🙃

No sailing for me this week, so thought I'd share a little of what I do at home in my aerial yoga studio.

I love watching people try aerial yoga for the first time. It's a challenge for them and me, but they always leave feeling positive and more confident.

Had the pleasure of teaching another yoga teacher this week, who'll be joining our happy little band of fruit bats! 🦇💕

Waved my friends goodbye today as they set sail from the Gold Coast down to Pittwater on one of the most magnificent sailing catamarans I've ever seen! ⛵❤️

What an incredible boat! Six beautiful cabins with their own bathrooms, loads of space to lounge around, a gorgeous galley and an amazing sound system. I could definitely get used to life aboard this beauty! 🥂

Would have absolutely loved to join them for the trip, but we've got some lovely family and friend time planned, plus my very first Float + Restore session on Sunday, which has sold out! So lots of good things happening here too.

Hopefully we'll get another chance to enjoy this beauty under sail.

Wishing our friends a wonderful trip, fair winds and safe sailing! ❤️

She's heading to the boat show and is actually for sale, so if anyone's dreaming of a life on the water, let me know! 😉

Last day of the Sail Paradise Regatta. Tired but smiling, we sailed out expecting something worse than yesterday ..... Instead the day turned absolutely stunning.

Two passage races, lots of kite flying, and a drag race home with another great competitor. Such fun 😊

Achieved a third overall with our handicap. An awesome regatta with a bunch of wonderful people who are all great friends. A pretty amazing few days on the water.

Thumbs up from Kym, all must be ok. Day Two Sail Paradise Regatta.

Lordy what a day! We had a few mishaps, spills and bruises today... breeze picking up, with a thumping, fast, wet ride home.

Satisfied ourselves with a win on the second race but fluffed-up on the first race.

My back is asking "what the heck"?!

First day Sail Paradise Regatta.

1st ORC
3rd PHS
Today the winner was sailing

First time in a year for Shock Therapy to fly a kite. First time full stop for Macca and I to fly a kite on the boat. What could possibly go wrong 🫣😂.... Actually nothing!!

Happy birthday darling girl!! 🎉🎂

The best way to celebrate your birthday... sharing something you love with a bunch of your best friends 🤗 And it was so lovely to be part of your day.

It’s definitely the first time we’ve been on a 4-hour hike with snacks consisting of croissants and pulled pork 😂 Catered with much love by a very happy South American crew 🥐🥾

Well it wasn't the weekend we were expecting but we had a fabulous time with two of our best buddies, so none of us minded.

It was so windy that the swim with the whales was called off. Actually all whale watching was cancelled.

We hung out, found some great markets, met some interesting locals, found some very green lagoons, and witnessed the massive tides from Urangan Pier.

Oh... And we beat Greg soundly in Uno. He cheats.. we have to beat him!!

We've booked for the whale swim first week August next year - apparently when the juveniles are playing and curious. If you're keen, get in quick as it books out fast. We booked with Hervey Bay Dive Centre. They only take 12 guests out at a time.

Memories of our last day in Tasmania of our Wine and Wombats adventure. We were ever so spoilt to stay at the Henry Jones Art Hotel (thank you @_chauny_ ) where history is soaked in every block and beam - literally, anything not original in plain sight is painted red so it can be identified. We had a tour of the incredible art collection and really got to soak in the atmosphere of this special place.

Salamanca Markets didn't disappoint. Its commitment to Tassie made, eco friendly is a testament to what responsible tourism can achieve. We met characters like Jacko the wood turner and Cary Lewincamp serenading the visitors with his guitar.

We got to catch-up quick with Goodie and Marcus in Sandy Bay who were preparing the Fly'n Scud for this season's sailing.

Tried abalone for the first time ever (Yum!) and had the most delectable breakfast at the stunning Mac1 on the water.

I succeeded in keeping the kid off her computer for an entire week, only giving in at the airport on the way home. Hugging her wombat for moral support as the onslaught of a Bond University doctorate hit her again.

Maria Island. Home of the stunning Painted Cliffs, fascinating Fossil Cliffs, and ... Wombats!!

They quite literally graze like cows on the hillsides during winter.

Not many tourists during winter... Still a large number of idiots who move too close to the wildlife, scaring them and stressing them out. Don't be that person... Please ..

The walks are wonderful. Just be warned that the "easy" walks are up and down steep hillsides.

The ferry service is great. Take all your own food and water with you.

Day #5… sun, glorious sun! ☀️

It does not feel at all like the Tassie winter everyone warned us about. T-shirt day!

Lots of sitting on large rocks in the sun, contemplating life and watching nature do its thing. The Bicheno Blowhole was mesmerising. Diamond Island, accessible by a sandbar at low tide, had beautiful views back to Bicheno and lots of birdlife… except penguins. Just the burrows could be found. 🐧

It was such a stunning day we decided to drive back into Freycinet National Park to Sleepy Bay. The wind had changed direction and stirred the sea up into a powerful, impressive show. The colours were intense… so glad we made the effort to go back and see it under different light.

We ended the day at the Lobster Shack with the “famous” lobster roll and a local beer to wash it down. 🦞🍺

Another magic day on Tasmania’s east coast. 💙
