HAPPY AUGUST aka my fav month of the year !!

Some pics from July, this was such a fun month. I realized I had been working a lil tooooo much to be fully enjoying summer so took back a few pick ups & it was such a good decision — feeling SO grateful for a job that’s so flexible omg

June was a lot of rain despite what these sunny photos show, a lot of working & a lot of love island lol. Seriously haven’t been reading much cause my nightly reading time has been taken over with it hahah

Things I’m loving lately 🫧🌷

• Coffee dates especially going to cafes I don’t usually do
• Good books ! Was on such a mediocre reading streak after KOA but lately have had sooo many good reads. Currently reading metal slinger and loving it
• Decorating our new apartment. It’s been so fun to have a vision and slowly see it be put together
• Sourdough bread from @brio.bakery ! Their jalapeño cheddar loaf on wednesdays >
• Early morning lagree. Took a pause from early morning workouts for a bit but back to them and it feels soooo good ! 7am is prime time for me
• Ice cream szn is back ! Lemon curd blueberry is the best flavour
• The Crimson Moth duology. Ok yes I already included books BUT this duo was sooo good it had to get its own moment. Literally flew through these
• Making time for friends! Making plans with a nursing schedule can actually be so hard especially when a lot of your friends are also nurses lol … but even if the plans have to be weeks in advance at least they’re made !
• Getting outside as much as possible. This past winter was so. damn. long. so def taking any and every opportunity to get outside in the sun
• These Birk Naples dupes !! Ugh I love a good dupe and these were such an insanely good price by @balancedwithj

Long time no talk omg the last few weeks have been so busy packing & moving but we’re finally settling in. Had to include a lil behind the scenes cause it was def not at all glamorous lol

Also first time living with my boyfriend (so fun) but new to be navigating our routines/lifestyles together ! Making dinner for two is the most noticeable change I’ve felt so far 😆 ( = less leftovers). Can’t wait to share more pics of our place once things come together ⭐️ by @balancedwithj

How I’ve been trying to fight the January blues because yup they hit every year 🌨️🧸🕯️

1. I probably sound like a broken record but srsly doing movement I love and look forward to has a huge impact on my mood
2. & a lot of that movement was done at home because when it’s cold & gloomy I do not want to drive anywhere
3. Reading !!! I read 2400 + pages this month because it really is the best mental escape. Take me back to Erilea
4. There was a solid 3 days in a row where all I did was sit on the couch and watch SLOMW. Sometimes doing absolutely nothing is the best self care
5. Back on my @ home iced latte kick and it’s making me so happy
6. Adding in face masks & eye masks more routinely because that little extra bit of self care can go a long way
7. Scheduling in time to see my friends & plan fun hangouts
8. & spending a lil extra time with my boyffff by @balancedwithj
