Elemental Skyhouse 2.0

‘REGAL’ 👑

The Master Bedroom is maximalist- layering heritage, texture, and personality into one eclectic space.

Deep lacquered reds meet warm timber, and yet the soft French-inspired details almost sing “glamour”

Here, old world charm blends into contemporary confidence… a place where you can unplug and be royally yourself!

Elemental Skyhouse 2.0

‘PAUSE & PLAY’ 🎮

The son’s bedroom draws inspiration from the world of gaming, resulting in a space that feels modern, edgy and full of energy. A bold colour palette sets the tone, while sculptural wall elements add an artistic dimension.

The bed, seamlessly integrated with a lounger, creates a relaxed hangout zone, giving him and his friends plenty of room to chill, game and unwind. 👾

Architect Ali Baldiwala of Baldiwala Edge (@baldiwala_edge) presented ‘The Beat of Life: Nafisa’s Journey’ at Design POV ’26, focusing on the sensibilities of life and the reality of death. The space was an ode to his mother, encouraging introspection and ultimately asking visitors to reflect on their purpose. The installation evoked a sense of gratitude and self-understanding.

‘FANTASY’ 🎠

The daughter’s room is a myriad of hues and dreams. Akin to a European fairytale, this place is a sanctuary, where reality bends and blends into to pastel castles.

Elemental Skyhouse 2.0 🏡

‘GLAMOROUS’

Bold, sculptural, and a little theatrical- the Powder Room embraces this home’s eclectic soul with its contemporary contrasts. ✨

‘WHIMSICAL’

The quirky Greek-inspired Study uses bold materials and a varied colour palette, keeping things fresh but with a touch of whimsy 🙃

Elemental Skyhouse 2.0 ✨

Our next project is quite unique - it’s an extension of a home we first completed 10 years ago!

This home isn’t being built by matching colours- it’s being created with elements that let contrasts coexist.

‘INTIMATE’

Rich woods, bold reds, layered textures and quiet corners come together to tell a story that feels lived in. A den with a glass house made for slow evenings, long conversations, and the simple luxury of doing nothing at all.

Baldiwala Edge (@baldiwala_edge) presented The Beat of Life: Nafisa’s Journey at Design POV ‘26 as a four-part spatial tribute to a mother’s experience of life. Each room, Lived Realities, Intermission, Freedom or Judgement, and Existence Between Worlds, held its own emotional weight while remaining part of a single continuous arc. The installation treated memory, mystery, and mortality not as themes to be illustrated but as conditions to be inhabited.

La Dolce Villa by @baldiwala_edge is a vacation home in Lonavala designed around the art of slowing down.

Created for a family seeking a retreat beyond the pace of Mumbai, the residence draws inspiration from memories of travel, translating the romance of European towns into a home deeply rooted in Indian craftsmanship. Wrought iron details, stained glass, herringbone patterns, carved stone murals, and layered textures come together to create spaces that feel nostalgic, playful, and richly personal.

From a sunlit master suite framed by panoramic views to a whimsical children’s room designed as an interactive playground, every space tells its own story. The dramatic stained-glass wall, Tuscan-inspired bathroom mural, handcrafted furniture, and carefully curated artworks transform everyday moments into experiences of wonder.

Set amidst the hills of Lonavala, La Dolce Villa is more than a holiday home—it is a feeling. A place where nature, memory, and design come together to celebrate the sweetness of slow living.

Life is short. Memory is long.

When @baldiwala_edge shared the concept for this booth, it wasn’t about creating a space — it was about creating a journey.

A journey through moments. Through nostalgia. Through the unexpected twists that shape us along the way.

For the first installation, we translated this idea into a flowing checkered wave, layered with memories hidden in plain sight — from childhood references and familiar icons to interactive doors that reveal unexpected messages, much like life itself.

The second piece took shape as a digital artwork, exploring another chapter of the journey, weaving together life, death, and everything in between through a surreal marketplace of experiences.

What we loved most about this project was its willingness to ask bigger questions while still being playful, personal, and interactive.

Thank you, @ali_baldiwala for trusting us with a concept that was equal parts thought-provoking and beautifully unconventional. by @baldiwala_edge

Thrilled to be included in the Architecture + Design Top 50 List 2026!

I always feel this dual sense of pride and humility when we receive such accolades. 💯

Pride because I know how much effort it takes the entire team to put together spaces for our clients that are unique, but timeless! This year A+D has featured “La Dolce Villa”, our latest residential project, an echo of Europe , nestled in Lonavala’s hills. 🏔️

And on the other hand I feel so humbled to be on the same list as so many stalwarts of the industry!

Such a motivating feeling! 🫶🏻

Thank you @architectureplusdesign.in @seemasree1912 for this honour 😊
