G’day, we’re Cort and Kyle 👋🏼

We sold our house and everything we owned to drive around the world in our Aussie-built LWB 4X4 Sprinter van… BAMA.

Why a LWB Sprinter?

Because we wanted comfort as well as adventure.
We wanted space, while still fitting on trails and tracks.
We wanted to be fully self-sufficient, off-road and off-grid.
And we wanted a bit of protection in rough weather.

But most importantly, we wanted a home on the road that we didn’t feel the need to escape from, and that’s exactly what BAMA is.

After nearly a year of living in her full-time and driving across 3 countries, we can safely say we made the best decision for us and the way we like to live on the road.

There are so many different options when it comes to building an overland rig, and there’s no right or wrong setup - just do what works for YOU.

100 DAYS behind us, filled with so many moments and memories that it’s lucky Kyle keeps a daily journal for us to look back on.

It’s hard to put into words what it’s been like travelling North America in our Aussie van, but one word comes easily: FREEDOM.

The freedom to go wherever we want, whenever we want. To explore tracks, find quiet camps and follow the good weather. To wake up in places like these with no schedule or plans. To have everything we need with us, wherever we go.

BAMA has proven to be the best investment we ever made, and sending her across the world was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

Summer days in BC 🌞🇨🇦

Picking wild berries, with nowhere to be, not another soul in sight and mountains as our never ending backdrop.

We stumbled across this amazing old forestry road off our favourite Cassiar Highway and were rewarded with the biggest patch of raspberry bushes we’d seen yet! With bear spray in hand, we spent hours slowly making our way along the track in BAMA, stopping to pick berries in the sunshine. Eventually we found a perfect clearing to camp for the night. Take us back! 🥹

Wild, on her terms.

She kept a close eye on our group, making it clear she wasn’t comfortable with us getting any closer. Our guide made the right call to give her space and let us observe from afar.
