TWO-PART TRAGEDY is out now everywhere!

“Falling in love is a two part tragedy.”

This song started with that lyric and melody appearing out of nowhere, and making sense of it ended up taking me back through some very different chapters of my life: loneliness, desperation, getting drugged and robbed in Istanbul, finally meeting my soulmate Hannah, dropping my guard and discovering the strange truth at the heart of the song: escaping loneliness through love only gives us more to lose.

Musically, it became its own strange little film. Cinematic, saxophone, strings, bells (no whistles), surprise turns, wild edges and a gentle bittersweet ending. For better or worse @georgemofficial ‘s Careless Whisper played a big part in the whole thing.

I’m so proud and relieved to finally have this out in the world.

‘Sink or Swim’ the debut album from @blindcornersband

A major highlight record we cut earlier this year at @thegrovestudios . The lads smashed this: the songwriting, the weeks of hard work in pre pro, the energy of them all tracking live together, the tones and the joy of seeing a young band hitting their stride on all fronts. Forever massively proud of them and the work we did on this record.

@aria_official album chart #9 in its first week! And AIR #1 album this week thanks to their passionate grassroots following. So cool to see it connecting 🙏

🥹🫶🏻 My new song ‘Light Of Love’ is out today!!! 🤍✨ Honestly, it’s a bit surreal..🎧 It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to produce my own music, and it’s so incredible to see that I’m well on my way on that path!! Not only for myself, but for my students too. 🫶🏻🙏🤍

It’s finally out! Congratulations @paige.barnard.music on releasing this beautiful album!! These songs strangely feel even more powerful and resonant to me now than all those years ago when you first showed them to me. It was one of the great privileges of my career so far making this with you alongside @ianstergram - couldn’t have been more memorable and meaningful if we tried. Had a beautiful time, as we always do, working the track up with Tommy and @cricklecuts - live beds + vocals and Hammond overdubs. Blissing out. @why_tho_ep is a studio project/collaboration between @bambamgeorge and @talfitzpatrick started during the pandemic.
