I’ve been making an EP !!!! 🥲 Exclusively for the release of my short documentary ‘It’s time that I confess’, this ep (of the same name) features songs that I wrote throughout my breast cancer journey. They’ve been sitting in my voice memos for years and now they’ll be released on the same night as the premiere on November 25 🥹

I’ve decided this one deserves to live a little differently, so it’ll only be available on CD and Bandcamp 💟💟💟
AND if you come to the premiere you’ll be able to hear them all LIVEEEE (tickets in my bio)

TWO-PART TRAGEDY is out now everywhere!

“Falling in love is a two part tragedy.”

This song started with that lyric and melody appearing out of nowhere, and making sense of it ended up taking me back through some very different chapters of my life: loneliness, desperation, getting drugged and robbed in Istanbul, finally meeting my soulmate Hannah, dropping my guard and discovering the strange truth at the heart of the song: escaping loneliness through love only gives us more to lose.

Musically, it became its own strange little film. Cinematic, saxophone, strings, bells (no whistles), surprise turns, wild edges and a gentle bittersweet ending. For better or worse @georgemofficial ‘s Careless Whisper played a big part in the whole thing.

I’m so proud and relieved to finally have this out in the world.

If you’d like to know the whole strange story behind it, I’ve written it all down on post Substack. Link in bio.

Huge thanks to the following people for making this happen.

Can’t wait to share my new single TWO PART TRAGEDY with you all this time next week.

Expect: cinematic indie folk / indie rock, saxophone, strings, bells but no whistles, surprise turns, wild edges, and a gentle, bittersweet landing.

It’s quite a ride.

But so is falling in love 😘

Out everywhere 25/09

Launching live at Junk Bar 26/09 with The Lost Resort and some special guests.
