💜 crochet a scarf again this year (still suck)

My friend @thaats.pebblz wanted to expand her photography portfolio, so we casually shot some short n sweet candids in under 30 mins. Literally was me catching up with her entire time while she snapped pics, so it’s a natural vibe & she ateee! 🌺 🌼

Pics that feel like summer this week;

had a lovely time celebrating @theblueroomstudiosatl 3 year anniversary 🥳 plus the cool kids table w fun convos
🌺 doing an amazing job not losing my jewelry this year: from various antique stores and random spots on the east side
🌺 my hibiscus flowers bloom at least 6 flowers a day now 😈 worldwide domination on the horizon

My friends and I do some rlly cool things 🥂
Side quests this time:
- spontaneous video shooting roller skating video w @os.three
- created prints for @kadeemmarron for his screening “one degree away” (5/5) at @cinemadebleu
- watched some hilarious and traumatizing indie films
- went to skate party w my buddies @rollinvips
- celebrated launch party of my lovely Ladibug friends ❤️❤️
- made botanical garden prints in hopes of a collab or cease & desist, whichever works ✨
- met some more cool people who upon seeing this should ask me to do some random stuff for the plot 🤩

Fun spontaneous memories this dump;
✨played catan in the rain & into the night; an officer kicked us out of the park and we made him decide the winner
✨was hoping for fun affordable events to attend; Akon & Neyo concert (top 2 concert in my life ever for $10)
✨finally painted physically, all the drinks i had during this summer & World Cup 🤩 loosely
✨rode a one wheel Segway with significant assistance & positive peer pressure, shoutout guitar guy
✨ate tiramisu cake in a can from a place on the beltline who happened to invite me to join their art gallery for next month
✨ lost at many many board games but argued to my heart’s content by @bamlakly

WE’RE SO UPPPPPPPPPPP GOOOOOOOALLLLLLLLLL!

Dude World Cup is so fire??? It being in ATL is the cherry on top. A lovely memory made with mom, who reminded me that she used to beg her neighbors to watch the World Cup on their TV as a kid, and now we got to scream together in person. Full circle moment.

Cool tied game too, yellow cards, woman referee, & penalty kicks, Czechia vs South Africa. Also took fire pics of ppl that were passionate. Tried chicken katsu loaded Doritos (very 🇺🇸 tbh)

Say hello to the artist behind the Buna Blues tee, Bamlak Haile ♥️

When we started dreaming up this shirt, we wanted it to feel like Buna Blues itself: warm, welcoming, rooted in culture, and centered around community. @bamlakly brought that vision to life in a way that felt both beautiful and deeply personal.

Her artwork celebrates connection, joy, movement, and the stories that bring people together. Through her lens, this design became a tribute to the Black diaspora, the tradition of the coffee ceremony, and the rich jazz legacy that continues to inspire our city.

We’re so grateful to have collaborated with a local Atlanta artist whose work reflects so much of what Buna Blues is all about.

Hair free, jazz music, and art, atl feels alive for summer.

Say yes more & take on more side quests kids 👊 they can become such fun projects.

My lovely friends @ladibugstudios took these for my collab with @bunablues, where I designed the cute tee for one of my fav event series to vibe & genuinely make friends. Listennn, I don’t even model but they made it a lovely experience ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Next on my summer bucket list: finesse World Cup tickets somehow, go to one small artist concert, and perhaps hold an exhibition or throw a party idk ✨ lmk if u wanna help or can make any of these happen 🙏😎😎 turn up summer taken in Jackson Street Bridge by @bamlakly
