THE BLANK, nowhere on earth (2026)

a piece about nothing, a piece that just is. be today, be tomorrow, be NOW. be nowhere, be here with me. just for a moment, allow yourself to be nothing at all

Cassandra Miller’s “for mira” is one of those pieces that will forever have a place in my heart. When we met this summer in Darmstadt, I asked her how she viewed the development of the theme: is it something that’s being rediscovered, or something thay is being destroyed? “That depends on your relationship with death” was her answer.
There is still a long way for me to go when it comes to violin playing, and I can only hope this piece will grow with me and I won’t ever stop finding new versions of it within myself
also, big shoutout to @p_mileu for the recording

Next week I play my final bachelor recital, the climax of the last 4 years that reshaped me as an artist and as a person.
Four years since I left my family, my friends, and the place I once called home, and stepped into a life I didn’t even know could be possible for me. This recital is the result of countless hours alone in practice rooms, yes, but specially of friendships that became constellations, love in all its shifting forms, many losses that carved space, and moments of joy that stitched me back together.
Next week, on the 27th, I hope to carry all of that with me on stage.
I will be premiering a piece that was born from a poem of mine that found its own music through @p_mileu and me.
This is a very special, very personal mix of works, that I cannot wait to share!

and now a more informal register of the two weeks that summed up Darmstadt!! i am so happy i got to experience it side by side with such amazing people and artists and i miss everyone terribly. it is also crazy to me that i actually got to meet giants of the New Music world, people whose work I have admired from afar for years like Rebecca Saunders, Cassandra Miller and Sarah Saviet.
one of the most unforgettable experiences of my musical life, that left me only with a very intense desire to create create create and explore more 🌟
may we all meet again very soon! by @bamorrenofim

some incredibly beautiful moments caught at IMD during this summer of amazing concerts i had the opportunity to watched and sometimes also be part of. I’ve been lucky enough to have been gifted not only an honorable mention by the Kranichsteinischer Preis, but also two beautiful pieces!
“The Violin as a Vessel of Affection”, by Yi Yao ( @yyyaaooi ) and “Counter-Chant” by Omer Barash.
both pieces, that we workshopped together over the course of 4 days under the guidance of Rebecca Saunders and Sarah Saviet ( @ssaviet ), open the doors for me to explore yet another layer of performance and my relationship with myself and my violin. in between screams, curses, gentle caresses, anger and love, we found music and art. both of these pieces have a very special place in my heart, which is where they were born as well.
