I AM THE PROUDEST LITTLE SISTER OF AN AWARD-WINNING ENTREPRENEUR 🏆🥹❤️

A huge, HUGE congratulations to @bansri57 and her digital marketing agency @the.socialsig, for winning the SHE Outstanding Woman in Media Award 2026! @sheawardsuk 👸

Just 18 months ago, Bansri decided to take a big leap of faith and leave the world of pharmacy, which is all she had ever known since her teenage years. Stuck in her comfort zone and a net of safety, it has taken every ounce of courage, patience, self-belief, hope, determination and hard, hard work to start from scratch and build a creative business all on her own.

It wasn’t easy. But she pushed and persevered and proved all her doubts and doubters wrong! She has come out on top in such a short space of time, despite of all the delays my own health battles would bring to her work life and all the time and energy she pours into looking after and supporting me 🥺

I always, always knew from day 1 that she is made to achieve big, bright things, and this is only just the beginning 🌟

She thanked me in her speech, which really made me tear up, especially as I couldn’t attend. But in all honesty, its HER - her vision, her passion and her ability to handle whatever is thrown at her, that has made this happen 👏 No one deserves this more than you, and watching you win feels even sweeter than my own dreams coming true ❤️

The world better get ready, she’s only just getting started 🚀

I can’t believe this happened yesterday!!!

Winning a SHE Award was actually on my vision board for this year but I didn’t think it was possible as my business is only 18 months old!

Thank you to the judges who thought my business was worth this recognition, a huge thank you to @shafbegum and @sheawardsuk for giving South Asian women a platform like this to showcase what we can truly do, thank you to my clients and those who nominated me because without you, I wouldn’t be doing what I do.

Thank you to my dad @anantbhogaita and my best friends @hiralx @saiyaf.z for coming all the way from Leicester to celebrate this moment with me ❤️

And lastly I want to thank my sister @vanishamusic and my lovely husband @sidharth.shah.125 because without both of you, this business wouldn’t exist. ❤️

Up and onwards from here. This is just the beginning 💪

A few weeks ago, my husband finally took me out to celebrate winning my award.

The funny thing is... I won it back in April.

Life happened. Work got busy. The diary filled up. And before we knew it, months had gone by.

It made me realise how easy it is to move straight onto the next goal without properly acknowledging the one you’ve just achieved.

As business owners, we’re always chasing the next client, the next project, the next milestone. We tick the box, say “great,” and immediately ask ourselves, “What’s next?”

But if we never stop to celebrate, when do we actually get to enjoy everything we’ve worked so hard for?

That evening wasn’t really about the award.

It was about slowing down, being present and remembering why I started this journey in the first place.

So here’s your reminder (and mine): celebrate your wins. Big or small. Go for the meal. Take the day off. Share the news with the people who supported you.

Success feels a lot more meaningful when you actually give yourself permission to enjoy it. ❤️
