POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Embrace a sense of renewal with our ‘New Moon Sound Healing Ceremony – A Ritual for New Beginnings’ session guided by our visiting practitioner, Svetlana Kaivalya – an international Sound Therapy educator and the founder of the Shantika Sound Healing Academy.

This exclusive event will take place on Sunday, 8 November, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at The Edge terrace, set against the tranquil surroundings of our private bay to foster a serene space for introspection and rejuvenation.

With over a decade of practice in holistic wellness, Svetlana is renowned for her ability to weave together therapeutic sound, meditation, breathwork and nervous-system-informed practices. The New Moon is a powerful time for new beginnings, and this immersive experience promises to be a sacred ritual where participants can set intentions and release what no longer serves them, allowing space for growth, restoration and inner awareness.

During the session, Svetlana will guide you through a tranquil soundscape, utilizing an array of instruments and techniques designed to harmonize your mind, body and spirit. As the soothing vibrations envelop you, participants will be invited to engage in mindful practices that cultivate presence and clarity, supporting a journey inward that opens the door to personal insights and transformation.

Join us as we honour the energy of the New Moon and partake in a shared experience, guided by the sound healing expertise of Svetlana Kaivalya, that emphasizes community, healing and the beauty of new beginnings.

Date: Sunday, 8 November, 2026

Recognising World Tourism Day which is celebrated annually on 27 September with an aim to spread awareness about the importance of tourism and its impact on our society. The day is also celebrated to highlight the global challenges outlined in the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to underline the efforts the tourism industry can make in achieving the sustainable development goals.

In recognition of World Tourism Day 2026, our associates participated in the 16th annual Cancer Care Charity Fun Run - a special event that reflects the true spirit of community that Samui is known for as it brings the island together to raise awareness and funds for cancer research as well as to support the Thai Red Cross Society. taken in Banyan Tree Samui by @banyan_tree_samui

We are thrilled to announce that Banyan Tree Samui was recognized for a third consecutive year with the distinction of Two MICHELIN Keys in the annual MICHELIN Key Hotels in Thailand.

This honorable achievement comes following a comprehensive evaluation from MICHELIN Guide Inspectors across five categories: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the guest experience in a particular setting.

We are proud of this achievement in our journey as a resort and such recognition serves as a testament to the commitment to service excellence from our associates and our ongoing dedication toward crafting exceptional experiences for our guests.
