On the shores of a secluded bay in Koh Samui, Banyan Tree Samui is taking its holistic wellness philosophy to another level.

This November, internationally acclaimed sound therapist Svetlana Kaivalya will lead an immersive New Moon Sound Healing Ceremony, inviting guests to discover the restorative power of sound in one of Thailand’s most beautiful tropical sanctuaries.

Storytelling is at the heart of Balcony's PR work for clients. 📚

So, when Banyan Tree Samui @banyan_tree_samui asked us to showcase the new products in their boutique, we began the narrative by interviewing the shop owner and learning how local villagers farm, harvest, weave and sew in order to create these beautiful banana & sedge fiber beach bags. Telling the full story helps create a bond between buyer and seller.

Special thanks to @t.a.i_studio, the studio behind the collection 🌾 🙏

A stay is shaped by more than the place itself.

It lives in the hands that build, the minds that imagine, and the gestures that make a stranger feel at home. In the textures chosen, the spaces brought to life, and the rituals passed down through generations, there is a kind of care that cannot be hurried. Only practised, felt, and remembered.

Across mountains, coastlines and forests, eleven of our Sanctuaries for the Senses have been recognised with the MICHELIN Key, a recognition of places shaped not only by their surroundings, but by the people who bring them to life.

Thank you for walking these paths with us.

🌴 THAJSKO v jeho najluxusnejšej podobe.

V tropickej zeleni nad súkromnou zátokou ostrova Koh Samui sa ukrýva Banyan Tree Samui***** @banyan_tree_samui
Rezort, kde luxus neznamená okázalosť, ale predovšetkým súkromie, priestor a výnimočný servis.

Ubytovanie tu netvoria klasické hotelové izby, ale priestranné privátne vily s vlastným infinity bazénom.

✨ Čím nás zaujal?

🔸 súkromná zátoka obklopená tropickou prírodou
🔸 privátny infinity bazén pri každej vile
🔸 ikonické Banyan Tree Spa
🔸 osobný Villa Host servis
🔸 výnimočná gastronómia a atmosféra

👌 Komu by sme ho odporučili?

Párom, honeymoonerom a náročným klientom, ktorí namiesto veľkého rušného rezortu hľadajú súkromné tropické útočisko s vysokou úrovňou servisu.

🌴 Kedy by sme išli?

16. – 23. november 2026

November sme vybrali najmä pre klientov, ktorí chcú uniknúť sychravej európskej jeseni do trópov a využiť mimoriadne zaujímavý pomer ceny a úrovne hotela.

Place cannot be imported.

A shared appreciation for nature, community and the traditions of Southern Thailand brings T.A.I Studio and Banyan Tree Samui together.

Beginning with the people and places behind each object, we introduce a collection that carries its origins into contemporary hospitality.

Featuring P'Ya, one of the many makers whose knowledge and skill give these objects their meaning.

From Phatthalung to Banyan Tree Gallery, Koh Samui.

I got into the water at sunrise, and I forgot what day it was.

A breathtaking, slow morning with a spectacular view and lush greenery. I miss this place so much @banyan_tree_samui
