The next part of the comics process I like is working on cover art! Since this is a Halloween children’s story, I thought that this cover would stand out, and be a creative way to showcase a snapshot of the story. -

Something I love to do in the comic book making process is to make prop pages before I begin work on the actual page of themselves. This helps to ground the world that I’m in, and helps to make everything in the backgrounds feel real and thought out. Here are some props I did for a children’s Halloween comic idea! I’ll post the pages soon so you can see how these props were applied in the actual page work!

Page 2 of my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan comic! I love the tiny turtle fight scene here. I just remember @robertatkinsart laughing hysterically as I was presenting it.

Adopted, is a children’s book I’m working on pitching about adoption. This is my cover, and I’m really excited about this pitch as adoption is a concept really close to my heart.

a cute little digital draw from one of my classes, the “Libearian,” I think this could be a really cute children’s book idea!! I rendered this digitally, but added a lot of odes to a grainy watercolor texture!

A little info graphic comic I did on tea! I’m a really big tea drinker, and thought it’d be neat to discuss some benefits to tea drinking! This piece was done traditionally in watercolor!
