Every stage of life has something to teach us, even the difficult ones. When we let go of our worries and place our trust in God, we make more room for peace, gratitude, and growth.

Today, BAPS Atlanta celebrates the birthday of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, a spiritual leader whose life inspires people around the world to lead with kindness and compassion.

He encourages us to see the good in others, bring people together, and find purpose in helping those around us. Through his humility and care, he reminds us that making a difference begins with how we treat one another.

On this special day, we celebrate his life and the values that connect us across faiths and backgrounds. May his example inspire us to listen with understanding, serve with an open heart, and build stronger, more caring communities.

On Jal Jhilani Ekadashi, we offer a ceremonial boat ride to the sacred images of God, a tradition celebrated with devotion here at BAPS Atlanta.

The boat reminds us of our own journey through life, with God as our guide.

May God’s guidance and blessings carry us through the changing tides of life. 🌊🙏

Young girls and teens from BAPS Atlanta joined the community at the Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple to celebrate World Sanskrit Day, honoring the ancient language that carries so much of Hinduism’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

They recited verses from Satsang Diksha, a Hindu scripture offering guidance for living with faith, compassion, and integrity. The celebration was especially meaningful as it coincided with the 93rd birthday celebrations of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS.

Participants also had the honor of meeting Dr. Sumit Seth, the Consul General of India in Atlanta.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Vedic Sanskrit School, Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple, Consulate General of India in Atlanta, Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, and all the volunteers and organizers who brought the community together for this special occasion. by @baps.atlanta

This week is Ganesh Chaturthi, the birth of Shri Ganeshji, the Deity of new beginnings.

He's honored first in everything, the remover of obstacles. His form even teaches: big ears to listen, small eyes to focus, a broken tusk for wisdom.

The words "Shri Ganesh" mean "an auspicious beginning."

Of all the words Bhagwan Shri Krishna ever spoke, one sentence changed everything:
"You have a right to action. You do not have a right to the fruits of action."
Total effort. Zero clinging.

In two days: Janmashtami.
Bhagwan Krishna wasn't born in a palace. He was born in a prison, at midnight, during a storm.
Hope, when it arrives, often arrives small.
