This Little Prince had his migration cut short. Please keep your cats indoors. Treat your windows to prevent bird strikes.

Our new mitigation murals at @suny.esf are getting lots of attention for their beautiful artwork and use of public education to save birds. They don't just feature birds, they also educate people on local bird species by naming them in the designs. Many of the species -- such as the White-throated Sparrow and Dark-eyed Junco -- are at higher risk of bird building collisions. The murals were printed and installed by a local graphic design company on PET-free plastic. I'm very proud to have co-led this project. If you're near Syracuse on Oct 29th, come hear the story of how they came to be, with expert discussion by @cilantropologist #justsavebirds #birdfriendlycampus #sunyesf by @bargesmeredith
