💜🌱DEBUT RUNWAY: Terrarium Dreams SP 22: The Vision a collection dedicated to our martyrs and the ones we dream for. This collection is inspired by encapsulating the dreams we live in and breaking through windows of opportunity to get to the world we dream of. Terrarium dreams capture the closeness of the light and warmth of liberation and the beauty of a community whose growth brings us there. What world do you dream of? Pretty cool that I can take my lil business and teach youth about sustainable fashion while helping them make their own fits! I know first hand how inaccessible fashion can be and how hard it can be to start. It meant a lot to be able to encourage young designers that they can start their designer dreams with things they have already have at home <3 I am a strong proponent to sustainable fashion and I hope this empowers our next generation to practice sustainability. you can watch it now and I have it in my bio as well :3:3 the kiddos were an absolute pleasure to meet! i’ll post more for it hehe by @barkadababy

a lil bag made for @renzsumusulat Growing Old Together screenplay event 🥳💐 it was truly a joy and honor to create something with Renz! He just gave me themes, colors, and symbols that represented his play (I didn’t want spoilers) and we ran with it.totebag features:🪾redwood embroidery on the strap (I looked up the patterns of the inter and outer bark of the redwoods and tried to embedded it into it). the redwood is a portal!! the original cast also signed it hehe. the strap is also the shape of a cane which is another important theme❤️did it work? bruhhhh the mf play made me cry so hard🪷sumpa kita motifs: “I promise you” was a huge theme and something rlly special to philippine culture. the smell always brings us back and acts as a promise that home is never too far away. I added a custom encased sampaguita zipper charm, a patchwork sampaguita on the back, and renz added a signed patch⭐️Tala, name of a major character :p no spoilers but also I love stars. I put it on a waterbottle pocket as a reminder to tend to our bodies!! treat yourself like the main character u are!🫛 pockets and zipper bc duhhhhhhthe materials were all upcycled or thrifted materials from @scrapsf 🫶🏽commissions are closed but lowkey if ur community hmu LMFAOOOO I love a trade economy btw by @barkadababy

valentines gifts I made for my @pepsanfrancisco barangay #LF4LYFE 🏠hello/how are you my home? print for irah to represent how everywhere she goes she makes it feel like home. also to remind her to check in with herself about what makes her feel at home🫂💐mini dried bouquet for kyra made of both native plants from yelamu lands and some of my fave ones generally to represent their love for the land💿 custom graff cd wall decoration for cat! she has been wanting to put more things on her wall, purple is her fave color, and in babayin manang is written🫶🏽misc rev valentines🎶mixtape for justin! a mix of our dad trauma and their love for different eras of music 🤞pill bottle for jia! with suggestions on things to do for her new year’s resolution of doing something new everyday✨can’t see it nor do I have a pic of it but a worlds best kuya print for kyle❤️vinyl and thuong patch for carolyn🥰 a word she taught me to represent love in vietnameseI LOVE LOVIN ON MY FRIENDS THEY KEEP ME GROUNDED IN MY CREATIVE PRACTICE BC THEY ALWAYS REMIND ME OF THE LOVE AND REVOLUTION THAT EXISTS EVERYDAT by @barkadababy

I haven’t posted on here in a year but barkada baby is back (I designed this stole with @tyyreesee and produced by @brown.brilliant.beautiful btw)❤️‍🔥 just had to get my masters and survive like 30 canon events first LMFAOmy goal for the month of june is to catch yall up on my creative endeavors from the year😚 think of it as a lil journey through my archive. throughout the year ive been trying different things and meeting new ppl here in da bay and im hyped to show yall what ive been up to since moving my 😚anyways swipe to learn more about this stole! it was an honor really to be trusted with this gift to the class of 2026. No product, just creating for the love of the game☁️🤓The shoe I designed for the @warriors @adobe and @localcolorsj collab!!! Tbh it was a bit stressful given the time limit but the fellow artists around me made it so fun :p it made me consider taking shoe design seriously LOLTo make this I had to strip the shoe with acetone and then used various vinyls, denims, and leathers to patchwork my design. I used superglue to do the pearls and then let myself run wild with the accessories#shoedesign by @barkadababy

im baaackk and earlier this year I got to do something cool with the @warriors @wednesdaybabyblue and @localcolorsj and @adobe 😎when @wednesdaybabyblue asked if I wanted to do this, it came at a time where I needed someone to support me in my creative endeavors. I had just relocated, closed shop (for now), and was looking to get involved with ore creatives in the area. I am so grateful because this opportunity led me to so many cool artists and gave me a fresh look into my own creative potential. each artist was able to create a shoe that would be displayed at a Golden State Warriors game and I was enamored by the talent and story each person brought to the shoe workshop. it also highlighted the need for more artists of color, and more marginalized artists in the room of these big corporations and teams. anyways i’ll post what my shoes ended up looking like my like soon and just know that even though my posting has been…..nonexistent (and i’ve been MIA, but tbh who isn’t with the state of the world rn), I am still so grateful for yall for supporting my journey :3more soon!💖 by @barkadababy

Last chance to get your barkadababy.com items by March 22! 🥺💜to be clear this isn’t the end of Barkada Baby! it’s just a new era that doesn’t involve online commerce. barkadababy.com will still be up to host blogs, updates, connections, and as an archive! It’ll still be operational, just no commerce for now <3 I will still do limited in-person popups, commissions, and special sales upon request!BUT Instead of focusing on sales, Barkada Baby 2025 will be focusing on three major projects outlined in the blog/newsletter💜ill be posting more on here now tho so stay tuned 😏 by @barkadababy
