It is with the heaviest of hearts that I write this post. On Saturday we had to say goodbye to our beautiful, silly, feisty, snuggly and beloved Cookie. Our hearts are broken. She was our little love who filled our home and our hearts with the biggest love. Rest in peace, My Sweet Angel. I’ll carry your spirit with me always and forever. by @barometerchocolate

Deliciousness right here! Stay tuned as beautiful bars you will love from Soma will be joining the Barometer Chocolate collection…and just had a customer reach out to me today to say that the order she received this afternoon is a gift for her 100 year-old mother-in-law who plans to host a memorable chocolate tasting with her sons. What I do brings me so much joy! Shout out to Adelaide in Florida and delighted that Barometer Chocolate goodies (and lots of lovely samples I tucked in the bags) will make special memories for her and her family. by @barometerchocolate

Dinner with my boy who is going back to school soon. Already miss him. We had so much fun and I really do love La Mercerie. Everything is just superbly fresh and delicious. Of course we had to finish with the famous salted chocolate chip cookie 🍪. Even saved a little piece of it (it’s hefty!) for Mike to have as a little treat today. Also, have you ever eaten cucamelons? You can see them in the first photo. They look like tiny watermelons and taste like cucumbers with a hint of citrus. Just came home in the pouring rain from NYC and am about to taste these delectable bars. Look for some or all of them at Barometer Chocolate come fall! Lunch at Gramercy Tavern with a lovely new friend was a delight and we both agreed that everything was crazy delicious but the heirloom tomato salad with peaches, coconut and mint was seriously off the charts! If you have the chance to go there while that’s still on the menu you will be very happy! We stopped into a Japanese market afterwards and I picked up a bunch of the cute little cat dishes which are the perfect size for sampling chocolate! by @barometerchocolate

What a beautiful day in Brooklyn with our wonderful new friends Mia and Louise. So excited for this next chapter. Delicious food, too! 4 girls’ lunch at La Rina in Fort Greene (one of our local faves), and for dinner with me and my best girl, a truly yummy and unique experience (you have to go to understand! There’s a secret doorway and more!) at The Residence of Mr. Moto in Williamsburg. Have you been? The miso salted cod kind of blew my mind! taken in Brooklyn, New York by @barometerchocolate

Clinamen was unique and a very cool place to (quietly 🤫) catch up with my friend Shanti who I haven’t seen in a couple of years. The Armory itself is absolutely gorgeous inside, by the way. If you go, explore all the rooms! taken in Park Avenue Armory by @barometerchocolate
