I learnt about Emily Carr’s art almost immediately after my moving to Canada. But there were the matters to be solved first like getting the resident status and finding the job (and getting accustomed to a new country), that was quite stressful even with my kind and supportive husband helping me. So I almost could not do any kind of art (besides maybe talking of it😆) for the first few years, but then it came back to me little by little. And then I stumbled into Emily’s biography books, “ Hundreds and Thousands” and “Growing Pains”, her world is fantastic, in spite of all human hardships. Now, when I see something green like these my first thought is that Emily would love it💚 by @barrbarissima
