Base31 is more than a destination it’s the living vision of a place where creativity takes root, neighbourhoods flourish, and a shared sense of place connects people across generations. Publicly available activations like the Sensory Garden, art installations, and other community features are gradually returning and and enhancing educational and recreational potential. Each restored element marks another step forward in bringing Base31 fully back to life.

Through this thoughtful design, and a deep respect for the land, Base31 continues to evolve in ways that protect its heritage and strengthen its connection to The County.

From free cultural experiences, live music, and festivals to pickleball courts, and historic audio tours, there are more ways to use and enjoy the District than ever.

We also make space for the organizations that make Prince Edward County stronger, providing affordable and subsidized access, storage and operational support to local nonprofits, charities, community groups and emergency services.

And as Base31 grows, that commitment will grow with it.

Parks, open spaces, walkable streets, community amenities and places for local artists and businesses will be part of the neighbourhoods we’re creating with BaseLiving.

A huge thank you to @base31pec for continuing to show up for Bay of Quinte Pride and our local 2SLGBTQIA+ community. 🏳️‍🌈💛

Their support went well beyond sponsoring the 2026 Bay of Quinte Pride Festival. Base31 also helped us bring Pride After Dark to life with an unforgettable night of celebration, community, and incredible performances — including legendary queens from *Canada’s Drag Race* and *Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars winner Aurora Matrix. ✨

And their support didn’t stop when Pride Month ended.

Base31 has continued its commitment to our organization with a generous donation back to Bay of Quinte Pride, helping us with the ability to work with the local community to build programming, opportunities, and connection that is meaningful for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in PEC.

Art belongs here.

On October 3, join us for Art in Place: Base31 x Oeno Art Walk Celebration, a special afternoon exploring contemporary Canadian sculpture across the historic landscape of Base31.

Take a guided walk through the new Art Walk, hear directly from artist Viktor Mitic, and discover how contemporary art, architecture, history and landscape can change the way you see a place.

Created in collaboration with Oeno Gallery as part of Culture Days, this is an afternoon for art, conversation and community, followed by a celebratory reception at The Commissary.

Saturday, October 3 | 3–6:30 PM Free, but registration is required.

Stuff’d is back, and this year we’re bringing the beer.

This October, we’re turning The Commissary into a fall food and beer festival, pairing all the favourites you’ve come to expect from Stuff’d with some of the best local beer and cider in Prince Edward County.

Think Oktoberfest, but make it PEC.
