Message from the President of the Federation from the Heart of Besieged Gaza to the Knights of the Palestinian National Baseball Team

My sons, brothers—knights of our Palestinian National Baseball Team,
From the heart of steadfast Gaza, amidst the rubble and the pain, I send you these words as you proudly carry the name of Palestine to the Asian Games in Japan.
Today, you represent far more than yourselves or your federation; you carry on your chests the name of a homeland that loves life and clings to hope despite all circumstances. Here in Gaza, we may lack facilities, fields, and equipment, but we have never lost the determination, resolve, and belief that sports serve as a free, powerful voice for Palestine in every arena.
Go to Japan carrying Gaza in your hearts—its children, its youth, its dreams, and everyone who has supported this game since its inception. Play for Palestine, play for Gaza, and play for every player, coach, referee, and volunteer who raised the flag of Palestinian baseball under the most difficult conditions.
Do not make winning your only goal; let every game be a message to the world: We are here... Palestine is here... and Gaza is here.
We started with humble resources and carved our path step by step until our national team reached the largest Asian sports platform. This alone is a proud achievement and proof that true determination creates the impossible.
Rise to the responsibility, play as one united team, uphold sportsmanship, and present an honorable image of the Palestinian spirit. From Gaza, I tell you: You are not alone. Our hearts and prayers are with you, and all of Palestine looks upon you with immense pride.
Hold your heads high, wear the national jersey with pride, and defend our colors with all your strength. Though we cannot join you in the stands, our spirits fly to Japan to cheer for you.
From Gaza to Japan... From pain to hope... From siege to the world... Palestine unites us, and sports is our message.
Best of luck to our champions, and all our pride to you.

Words from the President of the Federation, Mr. Ahmad Tafesh:

"I am proud to be a soldier in this great federation… the Palestinian Federation of Baseball and Softball." ⚾🇵🇸

A federation born out of challenges, carving its path through stone with a resolve that knows no impossible—setting a clear goal ahead: to bring Palestinian baseball and softball to the global stage and raise the name of Palestine high in every arena.

We are not merely building a team… we are building generations. Those trained yesterday are the coaches of today, spreading Baseball5 across clubs, centers, and camps, transforming it into a popular Palestinian sport. ✨

Through this, we revive our heritage, recalling the traditional game of "Radi - Madi" with its community spirit, turning our athletic roots into a bridge toward the future.

My deepest gratitude to everyone who believed in our vision from the start. You proved that sincere determination achieves the impossible.

Today, we take pride in winning the gold medal at the 2025 West Asia Baseball Cup in Iran 🥇—becoming one of Palestine's most active sports federations despite scarce resources and zero financial support.

We did not stop… we did not tire. Powered by our loyal people, we know sports are not just a game, but a message, a ray of hope, and a way of life.

Despite the pain and harsh conditions our people endure in Gaza, we continue forward to bring smiles to our children and hope to our next generation. 🕊️

We want to tell the world:
Gaza is not just pain… Gaza is life.
Gaza is not just wounds… Gaza is hope.
Gaza deserves life, safety, and stability.

From the fields of Gaza, beneath the rubble, and from the heart of suffering, we keep building the dream. We will persevere, develop, compete, and raise the Palestinian flag everywhere. 🇵🇸❤️

Palestinian Federation of Baseball and Softball
From Gaza to the World… through willpower, we forge the path.

Today is the one year anniversary of the martyrdom of heroic Mustafa Ahmed Tafesh.

A year has passed since your separation, Mustafa,

A year has passed, and the pain of absence remains the same, and the longing for you still inhabits our hearts.

On such a day, Palestine lost one of its good sons, and a member of the baseball family. ,

The Palestinian Baseball Softball and Baseball 5 lost a player who everyone loves, but the memories he gave on and off the field will live with us forever.

Mustafa Tafesh... Martyr, player, brother and friend.

You were a player in the ranks of the Palestinian national baseball team, and you were more than just a player; you were a person with a good heart and a beautiful soul, who loved to help and teach others, and you rejoiced in the success of your colleagues and rejoiced in your success.

When he returned to Gaza he was always present in the stadiums of baseball, softball and baseball5, helping players, conveying to them what he learned with love. His contribution to the game will be embedded in the history books.

Today, all the clubs miss you, and all the players miss you, and our stadiums miss your voice, your laugh, your beautiful smile and your good spirit. by @baseballpalestine
