Ya Allah thank you for everything. We looked up and saw the Palestine flag waving in Japan, that right there means we did our job. It’s bigger than a game, our brothers in Gaza and Palestine watch us take the field and this is who we do it for. Alhamdulillah for this huge opportunity to wear my flag on my chest. Alot of emotions, sweat and pain came with this, not to win a game but to represent the right way. Things didn’t go our way but we know what we can do and we know the future is bright. Every year I promise we will be climbing down the rankings until we get to be top 20 then top 10. The process gets harder and harder but we will make it happen inshallah. Alhamdulila for everything 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

We went head to head with China, the 4th best baseball team in all of Asia, into the last inning.
While we didn’t get the result we wanted, I’m proud of our guys and we showed the baseball world we can hang with the best.
We’ll rebuild and only come back stronger next year.
Just like the sumud of the Palestinian people, we aren’t even close to done fighting to be on top!

Before I left for the @asiangames_2026, I asked Mohanned, a boy who suffered a severe leg injury from a bombing in Gaza, brought to Houston by @heal.palestine for rehab, to paint my cleats.
I gave him full artistic freedom and was blown away by his artwork. I wanted to honor his bravery and courage, and all the children of Gaza.
I chose to wear Free Gaza on my sleeve during our game vs Japan and then Hind Rajab during my first start vs. China.
Unfortunately, the broadcast refused to show my sleeve until I was told by officials to remove her name halfway to the game.
Despite the threat of punishment, I chose to wear our two murdered teammates Mustafa Tafesh and Ashraf Murad during my final start vs. Thailand. Their sacrifice and impact on our federation will never be forgotten and I carry them on the field with me each time I take the mound.
I came into this tournament willing to put my body through whatever it took to win. Because I knew no matter what I would go through on the field, it was nothing compared to what Palestinians have endured and continue to endure every day.
All glory to our martyrs, all glory to Palestine
Alhumdiallah for everything
