🏆🇺🇸 ANOTHER AWARD FOR DAWO! FLORIDA, HERE WE GO! 🎬🔥

We are thrilled to announce that DAWO has received the Best Thriller Award at the Florida Shorts Film Festival – Fall 2026!

Another incredible milestone in our international festival journey, and another recognition for the thriller genre that has brought us so much joy throughout this adventure.

From Colombia to the United States, Europe, and Asia, DAWO continues to prove that independent filmmaking, passion, and a dedicated creative team can take a story far beyond its origins.

A huge thank you to the Florida Shorts Film Festival for this recognition, and to every single person who helped bring this film to life.

The journey continues, and we couldn't be happier! 🖤🎥

🇺🇸🏆 WE WON IN SAN DIEGO! 🎬🔥

We are incredibly happy to announce that DAWO has won BEST THRILLER at the San Diego International Film Festival 2026.

And this one marks a very special milestone for us: our fifth award on DAWO’s international festival journey — and our fourth win for BEST THRILLER. 🏆🏆🏆🏆

From a short film made with limited resources, but with an extraordinary amount of talent, commitment and passion, DAWO has grown into a project that continues to find audiences and recognition far beyond Colombia.

From Stockholm to Berlin, Brussels, Paris, Tokyo and now San Diego, this journey keeps surprising us. Seeing DAWO receive its fourth Best Thriller award, this time in California, makes us incredibly proud of what this entire team created together. 🇨🇴🌎

Five awards. Four Best Thriller wins. And the journey is far from over. 🖤🎥

Thank you to everyone who made DAWO possible and to everyone who continues supporting the film around the world.

@materialcinema We are incredibly happy to announce that DAWO has won BEST ORIGINAL SCORE at the Brussels World Film Festival 2026 🇧🇪🏆🎹

This award is particularly special to us because it recognizes the extraordinary work of @franciscofresen (Pacho), a friend and collaborator who has been supporting our cinema adventures since even before our university years.

Pacho has been part of this journey for a very long time, so seeing his talent recognized internationally through DAWO makes us incredibly proud.

And honestly, it is difficult to imagine a better place for this award than Belgium — and Brussels — where electronic music, techno and synthesizers are appreciated with the same passion that Pacho and all of us have for them. 🇧🇪🎛️🖤

Thank you, Pacho, for all these years of music, friendship and collaboration. And thank you to the Brussels World Film Festival for recognizing his work.

Another award for DAWO. The journey continues. 🏆🎬
