This Wednesday we conclude our short theme this month “WOO WOO” with one of the most ridiculous films ever brought to the big screen, John Woo’s American debut the 1993 action extravaganza
Hard Target!

Staring the always subtle and subdued master of the thesbian arts Jean Claude Van Damme! This modern reimagining of The Most Dangerous Game is peak 90’s action adventure schlock and is truly a delight those who wish to relive a period in time in which standing upright on a speeding motorcycle while bullets fly by your greasy mullet was an acceptable mode of transportation.

THOSE WHO MISS THIS ONE STAND A GOOD CHANCE OF GETTING DIABEETUS! (Iykyk)

DM if you would like to attend!

This Wednesday at 7pm at The Basement, we are coming back strong with one of the greatest action movies ever made, John Woo’s 1992 gun-fu magnum opus, HARD BOILED!

This nonstop explosive carnage extravaganza is still untouched in its dedication to chaos and mayhem and truly elevates the action genre to the upper echelons of cinematic art.

There are plenty of movies out there that have gunfights and explosions, but very few of them can carry a torch to John Woo.

DO NOT MISS THIS

DM if you would like to attend.

This Sunday 7:30pm at the legendary @4startheater we will be screening the 1983
psychedelic martial arts supernatural horror cinematic mind fuck that is THE BOXER’S OMEN!!!

This multi-hyphenated cult classic is unlike anything you have ever seen! It tells the tale of a young kickboxer out to avenge his brothers attackers when along the way he encounters a mysterious Buddhist monk who enlists him for a journey to battle the forces of evil, which come in many forms ranging from naked alligator women, vomit spiders, laser spear throwing statues, and most terrifying of all meditation.

This film is an adventure that leaves all who encounter it utterly changed, the very definition of a spectacle! There really aren’t enough words to describe this film so you’re better off watching it on the big screen in glorious VHS!

This Sunday 5:15pm at the spectacular @4startheater we will be screening the 1988 hilarious cult classic DEATH SPA!

This 80’s time capsule of the flick takes place during the height of the LA health and fitness craze that took the nation by storm and tells the tale of a neon emblazoned gym that has become possessed by an evil spirit that is terrorizing its taned and toned clientele!

This movie is ridiculous as it is hilarious and overall an absolute delight for those who have it out for people who want to look great at the beach.
