#TaylorSwift is facing criticism after releasing new acoustic and piano versions of “Patient Zero” on the same day #OliviaRodrigo dropped her “expectations” remix featuring #ChappellRoan.

Fans were quick to point out how predictable the move was, with one social media user seemingly calling it days in advance.

Swift has faced similar accusations in the past involving #BillieEilish and #CharliXCX, with critics accusing her of strategically releasing new music and album variants to block fellow female pop stars from reaching No. 1 on the charts. by @basicallyhollywood

#ValChmerkovskiy has issued a public apology to #CarrieAnnInaba after sparking backlash over a since-deleted TikTok status referencing Will Smith’s infamous Oscars slap.

The #DancingWithTheStars pro wrote, “You almost saw Fresh Prince enter the ballroom last night,” following Inaba’s criticism of his wife, Jenna Johnson, during Tuesday’s episode.

Val has since revealed that he reached out to Carrie Ann privately to apologize before addressing the controversy publicly.

“I should have never made the reference that I did and I deeply regret it,” he wrote. “I recognize that I am in a fortunate position to have a platform and to be a role model to some, and I need to treat that with more care.”

He concluded, “I am truly sorry to Carrie Ann, and everyone who I hurt with my careless post. I will do better moving forward.” #DWTS by @basicallyhollywood

A petition has been launched calling for #KellyClarkson to be removed from #TheVoice following her viral dispute with Brooklyn store Art of Play. Truly pathetic.

The Change.org petition, created October 15, urges NBC to remove Clarkson from the show’s upcoming live episodes and prevent her from returning for future seasons.

“The Voice is built around mentorship, professionalism, and respect,” the petition states, arguing that Clarkson’s conduct contradicts those values. by @basicallyhollywood

The plot has truly been lost.

The #KellyClarkson and #ArtofPlay drama has taken another bizarre turn, with Molly, the mechanical bird at the centre of the controversy, finally getting her chance to speak … This is so stupid.

In a satirical interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the singing bird offers her perspective on the viral feud that began when Clarkson accused the Brooklyn store of treating her as though she couldn’t afford the $15,000 attraction.

The bird, whose asking price has since skyrocketed to $15 million, has become an unlikely celebrity amid the ongoing controversy.

The interview is a humorous piece written from Molly’s perspective, rather than an actual interview with the mechanical bird. by @basicallyhollywood

#SelmaBlair is breaking her silence following her arrest after an alleged altercation aboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York on October 11.

In a lengthy statement to PEOPLE, Blair’s representative attributed the incident to a medical emergency related to her multiple sclerosis and pseudobulbar affect, a neurological condition that can affect emotional expression.

“Selma Blair experienced a medical emergency on the flight. There was no attempt to open the door of the aircraft. Selma did not intend to harm anyone.”

Her representative also called suggestions that Blair does not have MS “outrageous,” adding, “She still has bad days, and she lives with pain daily…There is much more to this story than has been reported.”

She was accused of punching one flight attendant and biting another before allegedly kicking a police officer repeatedly in the face, neck and chest while being transported to a hospital. She is also accused of kicking a nurse in the chest while receiving medical care.

Blair has pleaded not guilty to two counts of second-degree assault involving the police officer and nurse. by @basicallyhollywood

#HilarySwank has found a hilarious way to outsmart autograph resellers.

In footage captured by TMZ, the Oscar-winning actress makes sure to personalize each autograph with a name, making the signed photos much harder to resell for profit. The fraudsters show obvious signs of nerves and defeat, taking forever to give a name. by @basicallyhollywood
