Super excited with our next outpost takeover because we are flying to Cebu next week! ✈️

@kvynscoffeebar is a coffee space located in Mandaue, Cebu, that feels like a mix of familiarity and something new with each visit everytime we are in town. Their 'other' flat white is always 👌🏻!

Come see us as we present the Basis Coffee Outpost experience at their space thru our weird craft combination of ingredients and burst of flavors this coming Oct 24, Saturday, from 2PM until 8PM or until supplies last.

#KapeCon2026 is upon us! 🙌🏻

In celebration of this coffee community event, we present an outpost craft drink exclusive: PB & SLAY 🥜🍇☕️ which is a playful slay with the classic peanut butter & jelly sandwich.

A nutty, creamy peanut butter c/o @thenutco.ph mixed with the sweetness and tartness of grapes balanced by a rich smooth taste of espresso done using a milk-washed/clarified process.

Visit us at KapeCon Booth #32 this coming Oct 11, Sunday. We'll start serving delicious drinks as early as 7AM.

Sundays usually means a chance to catch up on running at the Ayala Ave, Makati stretch, enjoying a few hours of car-free heaven.

In collaboration with @corosph, @kubocoffee_ organized a Kapitbahay Run which will happen on Oct 11, Sunday, as part of #KapeCon2026 🏃

And what better way to celebrate your finish than by rewarding yourself with a cup of PAUL BAKER. (Yes, it's from THAT awesome TV show. Yes, I named the drink after him and yes, #iykyk.) 🫚🍺☕️

The sweet and crisp taste of ginger beer complemented by a good shot of espresso topped with a sweet cold foam on top sounds just about right after an intense run.

As much as I wanted to visit all the coffee events yesterday, I simply couldn’t be everywhere.

Thankfully, @basiscoffeeoutpost’s Kape, Kakanin at Kwentuhan started in the morning, so I managed to drop by @kalsadacoffee HQ—especially because I wanted to try the much-talked-about Tomato, Tomato drink that was also served during the Coffee & Matcha Fest at Greenfield District two weeks ago.

Of course, I ordered it right away. And wow… I honestly didn’t expect tomato to work so well in a coffee drink! The first few sips definitely gave me that distinct tomato flavor, but as I continued drinking, I started picking up something sweeter and fruitier—ripe pink guava. Such a creative combination!
The Tomato, Tomato also comes with a slice of biko, which turned out to be the perfect pairing. We also had the Sunset Espresso. The biko was satisfying. And heavy.

Kape, kakanin, and kwentuhan—definitely a fun way to spend the Saturday morning.

Spend this coming Saturday, 10AM-4PM, with us as we present some of our craft drinks, crowd faves & drink combos inside @kalsadacoffee's new HQ located at Karrivin Studios!

A very dear friend, @mabinlagasca, production roaster of Roastery Lab, will also join us as a guest brewer from 1PM until 4PM. Come through as he man the brew bar and get a cup(or two!) of his tasty brews.

Another thing to look forward to? Get a free good 'ol Pinoy kakanin along with your cup of coffee until supplies lasts.
