Bassem Elhady is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Kijamii, an award-winning digitally led advertising agency serving brands across the MENA region from offices in Dubai, Cairo, and Riyadh.

Originally trained as a computer and systems engineer, Bassem transitioned into media, technology, and digital advertising, combining technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision and creative leadership.

Under his leadership, Kijamii grew into a leading integrated digital agency, delivering social, content, paid media, creative, data, technology, and production capabilities for global brands including Netflix, Google, Huawei, Liverpool, Chelsea, Vodafone, and FC Bayern.

Kijamii was named Independent Agency of the Year at Dubai Lynx in 2019, reflecting the company’s creative strength, strategic impact, and influence in the regional advertising industry.

Bassem previously served as Kijamii’s Co-Founder and CEO for more than 13 years before moving into the role of Executive Chairman. He continues to guide the agency’s long-term strategy, innovation agenda, partnerships, and growth.

Beyond Kijamii, Bassem is a co-founder and non-executive leader at FlapKap, a pioneering revenue-based finance platform, and a co-founder and board member of Milango, a technology solution focused on gated communities.

He is also the co-founder of TEDxCairo, which has grown into one of the region’s leading TEDx platforms and a globally recognized community for ideas worth spreading.

Earlier in his career, Bassem worked as an analyst and researcher at Sawari Ventures, gaining exposure to startups, technology ventures, investment, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

An INJAZ Egypt alumnus, Bassem is passionate about startups, technology products, advertising, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and building platforms that connect creativity with measurable business value.
