12 week growth phase

Off season for footy. One clear objective: add size without sacrificing performance or condition

Antoun committed to a structured improvement phase focused on progressive overload, recovery management and execution. Not just chasing scale weight

The results speaks for itself
• Scale weight up +1.5kg (with likely additional lean tissue)
• Noticeable improvements in conditioning, shape and vascularity
• Weekly total training volume increased from 49,000kg → 71,000kg
• Stronger, fuller physique while still moving well and feeling good

This is what happens when volume is progressed intelligently, nutrition is aligned with the phase and training intent is consistent week to week. No shortcuts. No guesswork. Just fundamentals applied properly over time

Antoun’s words say it best:
“Working with Jack has honestly been a game changer for me. I’m way more confident in my training now and finally feel like I’m putting real size on while still feeling good and moving well. Having a coach there who genuinely cares, keeps me motivated and pushes me when I need it makes all the difference. I look better, feel better and I’m enjoying the process a lot more knowing I’ve got proper guidance and support behind me.”

This is an off season done right. Building tissue, reinforcing movement quality and setting the foundation for what comes next.

DOWN 30KG & A COMPLETELY NEW MAN

This is one of the most insane transformations I’ve ever seen and had the privilege to be a part of. Travis hasn’t just transformed his physique, he’s completely overhauled his lifestyle, mindset and performance

When Travis first came to me at Batemans Academy, his goal was simple: “Lose weight, get guidance with food and cut heaps of fat off my body.”

But we didn’t just want to lose body fat, we wanted to build serious lean muscle tissue and level up his performance on the footy field. Which is now on full display this season

To give you an idea of his work ethic: Trav started his first week with a total training volume of 37,000. In one of our most recent weeks he hit 65,000

This wasn’t a starvation diet. We kept his food above 2,000 calories the entire time. The deficit was driven by a meal plan full of foods he actually enjoys, delivering the education needed to make this a sustainable, lifelong change

This is what happens when a truly personalised plan meets 100% adherence and relentless execution

Here’s what Travis had to say about the journey:

“Batemans Academy is the place to be!! Jack is a very understanding and professional coach that has made myself family to his coaching program. He has changed my life and the people around me as well, massive ripple effect... Changed myself and loved ones to achieve goals that they thought could never be achieved in life but he has made everything a reality and to live by, day to day.”

Now, we begin the build back to maintenance calories over the next month, introducing more flexibility before we drive into a lean growth phase

Let’s keep building by @batemansacademy

7+ kgs down in 12 weeks

In just 12 weeks, Liv has made a remarkable change to her physique, losing over 7 kg all while getting stronger, performing better in the gym and building lean muscle tissue throughout the process

We kept her nutrition high enough to fuel our training, recovery and sustainable progress. Proving that getting leaner doesn’t mean starving yourself or sacrificing strength

This transformation didn’t require extreme restriction, ridiculous amounts of output or sacrificing her lifestyle. Liv travelled to Thailand and Melbourne throughout the process, enjoying greater flexibility and freedom with her nutrition choices while still staying consistent with the plan

The physical change is incredible but the mental growth has been even more impressive. Through plenty of honest, in depth conversations, Liv has developed a far healthier relationship with food and a much stronger understanding of how to approach nutrition without fear, guilt or unnecessary extremes

Her work ethic, implementation and adherence have been exceptional. Because the plan was structured to perfection, we never had to allow hunger and satiety discomfort to reach extreme levels, nor did we need to compromise recovery in the pursuit of progress

Very impressive work, you should be proud of yourself! by @batemansacademy

Will is down 15+kgs and in the absolute best shape of his life

When Will first came to me, his goal was crystal clear: “Getting lean and developing a sick physique, I want to get back down to around the 80kgs”

Mission accomplished on all fronts

When we started working together, the goal was achieving our goals in the most sustainable, maintainable and enjoyable way possible. We refused to sacrifice his enjoyment of life for the sake of a physique

For the first 12 weeks, we prioritised building a solid foundation, focusing entirely on adding lean mass. We saw his total volume pushed inside the gym double, going from 41,000 to a massive 81,000

Will was still having off plan meals right up until the final 4 weeks and enjoyed himself over Christmas. The challenge? Balancing a hectic work life, social events, relationships and footy. The result? A crazy transformation without giving up the things he loves

“Oh bro, honestly man, so glad we fkn did it aye. I feel like a completely different person, this is the gateway for so many things I want to tick off for this year. This just goes to show if you put your mind to it, you can do anything.. I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me bro, always there at the click of a button, supplying me with a wealth of knowledge, working with my lifestyle, eating elite foods and allowing me to enjoy my life at the same time.. what else could you want ! You are truly changing people lives bro, I can’t thankyou enough brother”

“Literally life changing and you’re behind all of it, I appreciate the fuck out of you my man. I seriously couldn’t have done it without you. Just goes to show that what you’re doing actually fucken works with top level customer satisfaction… It’s been an absolute pleasure working under you bro, this is just the beginning, I seriously appreciate everything you’ve done for me man. Thankyou for changing my life man, this is just the beginning… let’s see where we can take this”

Now we’re in the perfect position to enter a lean growth phase and I can’t be more keen to see what this bloke can continue to achieve in life from here on out by @batemansacademy

Thia’s transformation is nothing short of incredible

When we started, her goal was simple: “I want to get back to how I was looking and gain my confidence back”

Fast Forward and she has gained 6kg of muscle tissue, with an incredible increase in glute size, while weekly training volume has progressed from 7,000 to 19,000

But the numbers only tell part of the story

Thia has achieved this while studying to become a paramedic, managing an extremely demanding placement schedule, working, maintaining a social life and still making herself a priority. She continues to show up daily, train consistently, fuel herself well, and improve week after week

Most people say they “don’t have enough time”

Thia found a way to make it happen anyway. Her consistency, discipline and commitment have been genuinely beyond impressive

After seeing her comparisons, Thia said:

“These are just fucked!! The comparison is crazy from the first pics and that wasn’t even the very start. I still look at myself and think I need to achieve more but it’s good to look back as a reminder to stop and be appreciative. Glad we got back on the horse, so thank you once again, Jack. Couldn’t have done it without you 🙏”

And she’s right: the comparison is crazy. But even more impressive is everything that happened behind the scenes to create it

Thia, you should be incredibly proud of yourself. Not only have we well and truly achieved your initial goal, but you’ve rebuilt your confidence, transformed your physique and proven what is possible when you stay committed, even when life is busy by @batemansacademy

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: @tyladavies_ ‼️

3kg down in 8 weeks

Tyla’s initial goal was to “grow my glutes. Slim my stomach down and be more toned. Lose body fat but growing muscle at the same time”

All of it was accomplished without ever entering a deficit

How a body recomposition should be structured, fuelling training performance and recoverability rather than negatively impacting such

Calories were held at maintenance throughout, with two weeks spent in a slight surplus. Cardio was limited to a single session per week, programmed for cardiovascular health rather than calorie burning punishment

Training was structured to drive growth through the lower body and more specially her glutes. Progressive overload, precise programming and quality execution all led to each session volume increasing by an average of 30% week over week

At eight weeks the outcome was a 3kg reduction in scale weight, a visibly tighter midsection and measurable muscle accrual through the lower body

What produced the result was Tyla’s execution. Consistent adherence, accurate tracking and perfect implementation of the plan

Crazy improvement and progression in such short period of time

Well done Tyla by @batemansacademy

How Josh achieved his dream physique (without starving himself)

Before we took his first progress photo, Josh set out a clear vision:
“Clean up my eating habits, making sure I hit my macros, train well and put on size and reveal my abs.”

Fast forward to today and it’s fair to say we’ve achieved every single one of those goals and then some

If you only looked at the scale, you’d see a 4.5kg drop. But what actually happened was a masterclass in body recomposition:

Metabolic Reset: We spent the first 3 weeks at maintenance calories to reset & rebuild his metabolism and establish a strong baseline

The Recomp: We split this phase in two. Fueling growth in a slight surplus, then dialing it in with a slight deficit

The Final Reveal: Over the last 4 weeks, we transitioned back to maintenance. This is where his physique has truly come to life. Looking full, big and incredibly lean with visible abs

You can’t expect elite results with average effort. Josh went from a weekly training volume of 29,000 to 49,000. His work ethic inside the gym is unmatched

Receiving messages like this means the world:
“Can’t thank you enough Jack for all your guidance, patience and expertise! We keep moving this forward, just the beginning”

The Next Chapter:
This week, we officially transition into a lean growth phase. We’ve just rolled out a new training split designed to maintain (if not improve) his hard earned conditioning all while adding lean muscle tissue across the board

We are just getting started. Proud of you Joshy boy! by @batemansacademy
