Folk duo The Breath is the unmistakable voice of Irish singer Ríoghnach Connolley of Honeyfeet, Lí Ban and the mesmerising acoustic guitarist Stuart McCallum of The Cinematic Orchestra.

Since their formation in 2016, the duo have released a collection of exceptional albums on Peter Garbiel’s Real World Records. For The Breath, it’s all about the song. Connolly is a born storyteller, their mesmerising world of exquisitely crafted, honest, personal, heartfelt songs are as likely to touch on childhood summers and first love as cultural dislocation, post-colonial injustices and grief.

Ríoghnach’s impassioned delivery and extraordinary stop-you-in-your-tracks voice backed by Stuart’s stunning chordal inversions and motorik, assured rhythm playing is a captivating and fully immersive experience live. They transmit songs that tell stories in ways that soothe, stir, exalt, and touch emotional chords that will bring tears of lamenting joy to your eyes.

This is the band’s debut show in the city of Bath, specifically chosen as the artists of choice to close the 2027 Bath Fringe Festival. All tickets are seated in theatre style arrangement. Pick up your ticket while you can to avoid missing out on this formidable duo’s Bath debut.

A Fair Endeavours, Bath Fringe and Komedia presentation by arrangement with Midnight Mango.

Hi I’m Lucy @lucyangulomedia, and I have been the Events Marketing and Promotions Intern for the 2026 Bath Fringe Festival 🌻

I have really enjoyed working on this year’s festival. One of the best parts has been attending such a variety of different events. My favourites were...
🦁 @houseofhismajesty’s Guided Tour of Fairfield House
🎷 @thesomasoma at The Bell Inn
📚 @clare_red_writes’s Story Walk Through Disreputable Bath
🪩 @samgrief’s You Can Dance

A bit more about me - I am graduating from Bath Spa University next month with a degree in Creative Media where I specialised in content creation for social media. I love creating content for music, concerts and live events so this internship has been a fantastic opportunity! 🎓

Some of my other experience includes...
🎶 Digital Content Creator for Bath Forum
🧠 Social Media Assistant for the 2026 Curious Minds Festival
🎟️ Festival Content Creation Assistant for the 2026 Bath Refugee Festival

I have also done content creation work for charties, small businesses and an ice hockey team! Examples of my work from all of these clients can be found on my account, and if you like what you see, please do reach out - I would love to work with you!

Thank you to Luke for your support throughout my time working on the festival and to all of the lovely speakers, acts and event organisers that I have worked with! ⭐️

A classy and fun finish to our tour at Rondo Theatre, Bath with Kavus Torabi on Saturday night

It’s been a really enjoyable micro-tour, thanks to all the hosts, tech staff and to everyone who turned out, tuned in and bought a record or two

Much appreciation also to Arthur Foulstone for stepping in on bass duties and nailing down the low end for the last three outings

For now, it’s back to finishing up the third album, which is coming along very nicely
