As I sit here in my hotel room on the first day of tour, I’ve been reflecting on the past month in my beautiful state of Minnesota.
I truly believe that the darkest of times brings out the best in people. I have seen more people step up and step out to protect our neighbors, spend their free time patrolling with whistles, dropping everything to run to those in danger despite tear gas and rubber bullets, feed those who can’t safely go get food, drive strangers children to and from school, put their bodies in front of kidnappers cars, and their lives on the line. I’ve seen 50,000 people sled down a hill to particpate in daily protests, I’ve seen Somali and Mexican neighbors hand out hot tea and samosas. They may have guns, but we have hearts that contains all of humanity. Immigrants make our state great. Minneapolis I love you.

Please find any small way to stand up for what’s right- even if all you have the bandwidth for is calling our local government and demand they make a meaningful stand against 🧊, there are so many lanes you can ride in to make a difference! taken in Minnesota USA by @bathtubcig

Surprise! We put out a lil’ ambient recording today!

‘I thought it over’ was written and recorded during federal occupation in MPLS during the winter of 2026.

We hope this brings you peace, quiet, calm, and other stuff too. It’s available wherever you listen to music we’d appreciate it if you purchased it on bandcamp.

Link in bio.

Peace,

Peter and Hilary by @bathtubcig

Another @mattpondpa tour and recording session for the books! Despite having a cursed rental car, i had such a fun time playing songs across the east coast with John and Matt, and getting to hear @danmanganmusic melt hearts every night! I learned that I can hold my breath for a minute (thanks wimhoff), that Im finally starting to like steely Dan after all these years and love yes the band.

Ending the run by recording a new Matt Pond PA album was the cherry on top! @petecaigan at Bearsville studio is simply the best! taken in boys in the band by @bathtubcig

Mini Midwest (M)tour in May!

I’m so excited to play some extra special intimate living room style shows with my sweet friend @alexarosemusic from down south!

I met her a few years back on tour and was instantly captivated by her gorgeous voice and songwriting. I got to play cello in her newest record “Atmosphere” which is such a magical stunner front to back. And now we’re coming to a town near you (if you live in Minnesota or Wisconsin) to play some shows! I’ll be opening and also playing on Alexa’s set!
