As our 2026 More Than Paper® campaign wraps, major credit goes to Matt Callac and elbow/room for bringing this campaign to life through their incredible stop-motion animation process.

Every GIF and video you’ve seen through each MTP campaign was 100% handcrafted, right here in Baton Rouge, LA.

Thank you, Matt and @elbowroombr, for your utterly unique approach, and for helping us tell the story of why trees are so much more than paper. Go local! 🌳💚

🌳 Calendar Spotlight: Baton Rouge Green

This month’s calendar spotlight highlights Baton Rouge Green and the work they do to grow and preserve our region’s urban tree canopy.

Through tree planting, education and community partnerships, Baton Rouge Green works to increase tree coverage and bring the benefits of a healthy canopy to neighborhoods and community spaces throughout the area.

One example of that work can be seen at Hope Haven. Working with Peter Connick and the Hope Haven community, Baton Rouge Green has supplied trees and coordinated volunteers to help plant and line the campus with new trees.

Projects like this are a great example of what Baton Rouge Green does best — bringing the trees, resources and people together to make our communities greener.

We’re proud to highlight their work and the impact these trees will have at Hope Haven for years to come. 🌳 by @batonrougegreen

Putting their skills to work. 🌳

Last week, our Agroforestry Apprentices took what they’ve been learning and put it into practice, planting native, fruit, and shade trees in Baton Rouge.

From proper planting techniques to tree care and maintenance, this hands-on work gives apprentices the chance to build real experience while helping grow a healthier urban canopy.

Want to build these skills with us? Applications for the 2027 Agroforestry Apprenticeship are open through October 30. Apply at the link in our bio! by @batonrougegreen
