This album helped me fall back in love with music, to find the joy and playfulness in it all again, something I felt I’d lost through industry toxicities and grief. Today, I share with you the newest single ‘Crisis’, I love this song, enjoy! x

🎉 The Nightline is 4 years old today! 💚🎉
This album means so much to me, it was so much fun to make with my incredible band @stimplyren @beatdown2000 @wackermcstanger , Adam and @gormie_ and release it with my favourite indie label @mistletone 🥹 We had a lot of fun making this one and what a dream it was to collaborate with @sharonvanhalen and @thisisdeepseadiver on it, and have the opportunity to play Blue live with Sharon, truly the luckiest! Here are some behind the scenes things from the making of I don’t think I got around to sharing because I hate posting haha. What does The Nightline mean to you? Are you still listening to it? What songs are your favourite?

Can't wait to get stuck into making another record soon✨ by @battsmusic

Anyone else experience the days where you think you'll never write a good song ever again and you might as well quit and give up forever? 😂 Haha I'm working on being kinder to myself on those days. I find it hard considering I have such minimal time to write these days. I feel like I've wasted that precious time and that's hard. I always have to remind myself that even a bad idea is important to get out and that leads the way to a better one pretty much every time. I'm also learning to walk away and spend the time going for a walk or reading etc I find consuming other art forms is a great way to build up material to draw from consciously or subconsciously down the line. Anyways, what are some things you do on those days to help? 😂

I've been writing songs for my next album and I wrote this one today and thought I'd share a bit of it to remind you that 1. I exist and 2. I make music 😂
I often think about how we treat the Earth so poorly and how when humans cease to exist in many many moons, mother nature will repair and hopefully thrive again with her perfect little ecosystem 🌍

That fresh hair feeling ✂️ Thanks @offthetopofmyhead ❤️
You guys, I think I should quit music and become an influencer, I'm clearly a natural 💁What do you think? Shame I hate making content 😂 Guess I should just write a new album instead 👀 by @battsmusic

So nice to play in Warragul on the weekend with the incredible @vikaandlinda ❤️ Always such an honour to open up their shows, they are THE BEST. When I moved to Australia, my family ended up in Warragul of all places 😂 I've never had the opportunity to play there (other than open mic nights at my dad's cafe many moons ago). It was lovely to finally have the chance to be back on the stage I did my Tap Dance Eisteddfod on. Brought back all the memories! Thanks to the lovely crowd for being a great audience to test out some new songs. Hoping to be back on stage a lot more this year! 🤞 by @battsmusic

Saturday was a dream 🥹❤️ Being back on stage and opening for the absolutely ICONIC, NUMBER 1, ARIA HALL OF FAMERS - @vikaandlinda was heaven ❤️‍🔥🙌 I absolutely love these ladies so much, two of the kindest, funniest, most talented and hardest working people in the world. An honour to share the stage with them. So grateful, and my god their set was absolutely incredible! They are on tour for the rest of the year, so if they are coming to your town, get tickets asap!

It felt so nice to play some new songs at one of my favourite venues. Big thanks to @i_am_adrian_john for lending me his guitar as mine broke 2 days before it 🫠 taken in Melbourne Recital Centre by @battsmusic
