Yes, that’s right - it’s time to say farewell to all our handmade eco wooden jewellery. 🥲

I’m currently in the process of winding down much of the production side of Batty Blossoms, and have had to make some big decisions. One of them being that I will no longer be making jewellery. 💔

So, all wooden jewellery is now 50% off to clear the stock and (hopefully) send these little beauties off to new homes in time for spooky season! They all come in lovely lilac gift boxes, so would also make great budget-friendly Christmas gifts. ☺️

4 DAYS TO GO! 👀
The wonderful @brightonstorytrail begins in Brighton THIS Saturday and I can’t wait to see (and sit on) all the beautiful benches out and about in my lovely city! 🥰

It was an absolute honour to paint this @wildinart book bench for @amazesussex - a charity very close to my heart - with so many talented artists. Everyone has worked so hard and the benches all so different, we can’t wait for you to #sitwithus! 💜

3 WEEKS LEFT to see Mr Holmes! 😨
It’s hard to believe where the time has gone but we are now down to the last 3 weeks of the @wildinart #prideofportsmouth trail. 🥲

I had the absolute pleasure of popping down to see my dear Purrlock on display at @portsmouthdistillery a few weeks ago and he looks so at home there. 😊 Paul, Hayley and all the lovely team at the distillery are taking excellent care of him and I hear he’s even been a guest at a couple of weddings! 😆

Whilst I was visiting, I also got to see the packaging for the special Portsmouth 100 Gin & Rum gift set I’d designed in person - it’s huge! 😄 I was also asked to sign some certificates for a limited number of special VIP boxes, one of which was very kindly gifted to me by the team. 💜

Thank you so much @portsmouthcitycouncil and @portsmouthdistillery for having me on board and being such wonderful sponsors. It has been really special to be part of such a great community project for my hometown. It’s wonderful to see everyone enjoying all the brilliant lions and seeing the city come alive with art! 🥰

The secret is out! My second very exciting announcement is that I am delighted and honoured to have been selected as one of the artists for the Brighton Story Trail!

I am SO excited to be painting a @wildinart book bench sculpture that will be on display here in Brighton between September - November this year. 🌈

I have been sponsored by the lovely folks at @brighton_marina 🥰

HELLO hello!!! It has been about a billion weeks since I posted here (sorry). 🙈 I’ve still been around, just lurking and not creating much. Between my day job and my beautiful little boy and having a social life, there hasn’t been much time for art lately. 😄

BUT that’s all changing because I’m thrilled to announce I have been chosen to be one of the artists for the #prideofportsmouth art trail! 🦁

I met my lion on Wednesday and we’ve got to know each other pretty well. He’s got some base coats of colour and I can’t wait for you to see him finished and on the town this summer!

I have another couple of exciting things to share soon so watch this space for sneak peeks and other arty fun. New products will be in the shop soon.. 💖🌈

🔔 PIN-GLE BELLS 🔔
Ok not my best pun but these might be one of my favourite seasonal things I’ve ever made.. 😄

Little clay pins in a range of fun festive shapes and coated with resin to make them lovely and shiny (and durable).

Some of them have glitter accents too because if you can’t sparkle at Christmas time then what’s even the point?!

These will be available at @brightonopenmarket THIS SATURDAY from 10-5pm

Saturday is my ✨last time at BOM until next year✨ so please do come on down if you’re local and you need some decs.. or stocking fillers.. or just a silly chat about frogs. 🐸

THE TREE IS UP! 🎄💜✨

As yesterday was the 1st of December AND it was sooo very gloomy, we put up the Christmas tree. 🥰

My very kitsch and very loved white tree finally gave up last year 😢 (possibly something to do with L falling off his chair and being caught by 1/3 of her branches.. 🫣)

So we got a new one this year (I’m not normally a fan of fake trees trying to be real trees but this one has like pretend needles?! I didn’t even know that was a thing.) #whatatimetobealive 😆

We had lots of fun decorating the tree and eating mince pies and drinking hot chocolates. And I even let other people put ornaments on the tree without my eye twitching! ☺️

I mean, sure I moved them to a different branch when they weren’t looking but that’s not the point. 😂
