🐟💧🦑 Bauba Collective: We Are Because You Are (video installation)

🗓️ Saturday 13.12. 16:00-00:00, @avu_prague - Veletržní 61

Bauba Collective, inspired by the renowned fishponds of the Třeboň Basin—a vital refuge for regional biodiversity—presents a short video that reimagines the ponds as a planetary habitat. Through the voice of a mud spirit, the work issues a warning about the ponds’ ill-fated future after years of human intervention.

📆 Knock knock - the premier at @vidiny105 is coming!
👀You can see „We are because you are” by Bauba Collective every evening from 20th to 24th of August in Trebon at Vidiny Festival.

✍🏻 „We are because you are” presents a narrative where the past meets the future, dwelling into where water itself reflects on its current needs and desires.

Bauba Collective inspired by the famed old fishponds of the Třeboň Basin, a vital element in protecting biodiversity in the region, presents a short video that reimagines the ponds as a habitat of the planet that, after many years of human interventions, through a voice of a mud spirit warns about the ill-fated future of the ponds.

The imaginative journey into the relations between different habitants of the planet, human actions, and interventions, aims to remind humans of their coexistence on this planet, which shall lead to compassion and well-being of all ecosystems.

See your there! by @bauba_collective
