Life doesn’t always pan out the way we imagined Plans change Relationships change Sometimes everything we thought was certain blows up But a different life doesn’t have to mean a deprived life You still get to dream, make plans and create something beautiful from where you are Your story is still unfolding babe Bay 🤍 #womenover40 #rebuilding #meseason #startingover by @bayodesimpson
Joy isn’t proof that everything is going right It’s proof that everything going wrong doesn’t get to have all of you You can still laugh You can still dance You can still live babe Trust me, you can and you will Bay 🤍 #becomingher #startingover #womenrebuilding #womenhealing #choosingjoy by @bayodesimpson
Starting over teaches you that keeping the peace and keeping quiet are not the same thing Somewhere along the way, women were taught to keep it cute, stay classy and say less Even when the decisions weren’t theirs Even when they were the ones living with the consequences But you can have grace and still have a voice You can choose peace without carrying responsibility for decisions you didn’t make And you can tell your story without telling everything Your voice matters too Join our FREE WhatsApp GOBB Community. No curse has more authority than God’s blessing No hex, no evil altar, no spell, no occult practice gets the final word over what God has blessed Stop giving fear more authority than God’s Word And who is it that speaks when God has already spoken? Numbers 23:23 (MSG) What God has blessed, no one can curse Keep your head up babe! Bay 🤍 #becomingher #startingover #choosingjoy #womenover40 #womenrebuilding by @bayodesimpson
A difficult season changed the way I looked at money. It taught me the importance of financial breathing room and making more intentional decisions. That’s one of the reasons Money Dates are part of GOBB Membership. Opens November 1. Click the link in bio to join. Bay 🤍 #becomingher #startingover #choosingjoy #moneysavingtips by @bayodesimpson
You hear the lies You hear about the smear campaigns Sometimes they’re brought right to your inbox You read things about yourself that make you wonder how people can be so comfortable twisting the truth And sometimes, it hurts Especially when you know the truth but cannot spend your life defending yourself to everyone But somewhere along the way, you make a decision You let go of the shame that was never yours to carry You stop walking with your head down You stop allowing other people’s version of your story to determine how you show up in the world You may not be able to control what is being said about you But you can decide how you carry yourself through it And yet, you rise You walk tall Because someone else’s version of your story does not get to become your identity Bay 🤍 #startingover #womenrebuilding #becomingher #choosejoy #wearconfidence by @bayodesimpson
Not everything has to be resolved for life to still hold beauty There can be uncertainty There can be serious chaos in the background Things you’re still figuring out Parts that feel super uncomfortable Questions that don’t have answers yet And still Good moments Good people Good music Laughter… lots of it Peace Joy Your life can still be beautiful while parts of it are chaotic Trust me on this babe Bay 🤍 #choosejoy #chooseyou #womenrebuilding #womenhealing by @bayodesimpson
You don’t have to dislike where you are to know you want more Sometimes the role you’re in is giving you experience, exposure, income, skills or relationships you’ll need for what comes next Take everything you can learn from it But keep moving Keep learning Keep building relationships Keep leveraging your network Keep applying for the opportunities that stretch you Manager Director VP Better compensation A completely different path Whatever the next level looks like for you, don’t talk yourself out of it before anyone else has even had the chance to consider you And while you’re doing the work, pray for guidance, discernment and open doors Be grateful for where you are without giving up on where you believe you’re going Bay 🤍 #becomingher #careerwoman #careerpath by @bayodesimpson
Listen, there is something different about having money set aside and has no other job but to sit there (and grow) Not money for next week Not money waiting for a bill Not money you already know you’re going to have to move back Money that can simply stay there For me, my hard season taught me that kind of savings created something I hadn’t fully appreciated before: Options More room to think More room to decide More room to respond when life changes That’s why I don’t think of savings as just a number anymore Financial safety is having options before you need them Bay 🤍 #becomingher #startingover #financialfreedomjourney #financialstability by @bayodesimpson
