This is YOUR reminder that BIG transformations don’t happen overnight…they happen one small decision at a time 💕

If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect” time to start your weight loss journey, this is your sign that today is enough. You don’t need the perfect gym, expensive equipment, or all the answers. You just need to START.

My journey didn’t happen in 30 days or even a few months. It took me about a year and a half of showing up for myself over and over again. I started with 20-minute walks, simple bodyweight circuits, and two dumbbells. No personal trainer.
No shortcuts. Just consistency, discipline, and a commitment to becoming a healthier version of myself.

After losing the weight, I chose to have the extra skin removed from my stomach. That skin was a reminder of how far I’d come, and while I absolutely could have lived HAPPILY without surgery, having it removed was a personal choice that I made for myself. As an added “job well done,” my amazing husband surprised me with an augmentation … —a gift that celebrated the hard work I’d already put in. Those procedures didn’t create my transformation... they simply complemented the work, I’d already earned.

The real transformation happened long before any surgery. It happened every time I chose to go for a walk instead of making excuses. Every workout I completed when I didn’t feel like it. Every healthy choice that no one else saw. That’s where confidence is built.
So if you’re looking at this thinking, “I could never do that,” let me tell you something...
YES. YOU. CAN.

Start with a 20-minute walk.
Pick up two dumbbells.
Do a bodyweight workout in your living room.
Drink more water.
Stay consistent.
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep showing up.

One day you’ll look back and realize that the small steps you almost didn’t take completely changed your life.
Your future self is waiting on the decisions you make today. IT STILL BLOWS MY MIND I LOST 100 lbs! 🤯

Let’s get to work FITFAM!! 💪🏽🔥
4 years into my transformation- never turning back!

Come get this FULL BODY Workk 💪🏽🔒

Exercise shouldn’t feel like a burden or a punishment. It’s a PRIVILEGE. An opportunity to invest in ourselves and show gratitude for what our bodies CAN DO.

One of the BIGGEST BLESSINGS of my fitness journey? Normalizing a healthy lifestyle with my kids! Watching them jump in on my workouts will always make my heart smile… exercising and eating healthy are becoming normal parts of their lives and to me that is the ultimate generational wealth - the ultimate legacy.

Raising mine to be HEAVY on stewarding both their spiritual and physical health, bc this world we live in is a MESS and they gonna need both. 📖🏋🏽‍♀️💪🏽✨

Move ya body bc you can! Not bc you have to, and train for the LIFE you want to live, not just the body you wanna see in the mirror

- LET’S GO!

I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, please know I’m not trying to be- (that girl got BARS lol)

Now for those of you who are STILL HERE -⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

I ran 5 miles the first time straight through!!! Maintained a steady training pace to get faster on my short runs while working on my endurance-

Only stopped a few times to catch my breath and sip a lil water!!! Getting back in my running bag and tightening up in that kitchen has been the best thing I’ve done for my health and mental!!

So proud of the progress I’ve made so far!!!! HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Let’s dance 💃🏽 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

Next goal: sub 30 min 5k …. I CAN do it 💪🏽🔥

*I don’t own rights to music * by @bb_barbells

FIRST 5k!!!! ✅🏃🏽‍♀️💨✨
Did I hit my goal time? Nope 😂
Did I finish my first 5k anyway?

BETTER BELIEVE I DID!!!

The goal may have gotten away from me today, but my excuses never will.

Had the crazy idea to start running marathons two months ago, went from a 17 minute mile pace, 45 mins to complete down to splitting 7 and 9 minute paces and finishing JUST over my goal of a very average 30 min!!!🤯🤯

A win is A win …💪🏽💪🏽🔥🔥

Who knew a lil 5k would have us out there fighting for our lives?!? 😂

Shout out to my husband for running with me! And a HUGE THANK YOU to any of our friends and family who supported by registering on IRUN4MOVEMENT, or giving words of encouragement. 🫶🏽💕

Yall Remember:
You’re NEVER TOO OLD to SET THEM GOALS… just old enough to question why you sign up for em 😂😂😂🤷🏾‍♀️

Already looking to register for the next!!!!🏃🏽‍♀️💨✨
