hello darling 💋 and welcome to the first Wednesday of the August #coverartfashionchallenge ☺️ @ms.superamazing and I are so looking forward to your album art, music, and outfits choices! 🎶

It’s 70’s week and I’ve picked one of my all time favourites: Rumours by @fleetwoodmac 🙌 it is considered a masterpiece 🎶 with the band’s infamous personal conflicts - Stevie and Lindsey’s crazy breakup, Christine and John’s divorce and Mick’s marriage ending - it’s amazing that they made it work. Many of the songs reflect the heartbreak.🖤

outfit: Stevie Nicks dressed in her stage outfit of “Rhiannon” so I’m in my favourite flowy black dress 🖤 to add to the witchywoowoo look, I’m twirling with this #thrifted scarf I painted stars on ✨and have my moon & stars necklace as well ✨ these fab #tights @snagtights add to the theme 🖤 I didn’t have ballet slippers, so ankle strap heels were my best option!

I’m also joining my fabulous friend @thenicethingsfairy for #wowlipswednesday wearing @maybelline in unrivalled 💋✨

🌊🎶

the sound between us
should not exist, yet flows slow
taking its sweet time
bringing new heart rhythms, rhyme
intimate, strange harmony

these words came from pondering how we can connect deeply with someone so very different from ourselves.

I was out for a walk by the North Sea, letting the wind and waves soothe my soul. Somewhere behind me on the boardwalk, a musician set up and started to play. I could feel myself becoming agitated at the intrusion, but I didn’t want to leave. Then he slipped into sounds that seemed to sing with the sea and I was mesmerised. It felt like an intimate concert just for me. This video clip is from that wonderful experience with two of my favourite things: the ocean and music 🌊🎶

outfit: I took my cue from the character Holly and decided to wear black & white, pearls and sparkle ✨ dress is from @nextofficial 🖤 the ankle strap heels go with the 60’s hemline and classic #sheertights ✨ my moon necklace is for the song 🌙

outfit: I decided on this cute #thrifted denim dress as it has a #60sfashion vibe 💙 the boots were a gift from one of my daughters 🥰 she’s a vinted queen! the bright tights are @snagtights ❤️ the bangle is from a vintage shop in France. I saw one in the window but it was waaayyyy too much. the lady had a basket of damaged pieces at the desk, and guess what I found? this bracelet has more “character” but it was a bargain 😉
