3 short months after his brother, on 2/5/26, our big guy chased his brother across the rainbow bridge. Sunny was our king of comfort, our big soft quiet weirdo, and the hungriest boy in the whole world. He was a shadow in whatever room you were in, and he was an expert a howling along with an ambulance. We miss him, we love him, and our house feels so empty without them both. Grief is strange, but what a privilege it is to watch them grow old. by @bbantz18

Blessed with another trip around the sun getting to do what I love with the people I love. I’m undeserving of this life from God but grateful for the grace He extends my way and the people I’m blessed to get to be around.

Had a pretty great day with some great food with the bestie @aarontrolia and my godson @jack__tro and the wife (even with my eyes half open apparently 😂😂. Finished the day off with best ice cream there is the wife and our old guy Sunny B! @kellymeerkat , you make me who I am. There are not strong enough words for what you mean to me and our family. Love you. #teamadventure.

To all my athletes… you are why I do it. Each of you bring such much joy to my life and I’m forever grateful to be a part of your journey. Let’s keep growing together and making moves!!! by @bbantz18

Hitting is not one size fits all. You can’t fit hitters into a cookie cutter box. You have to understand how each individual moves and why. It’s not about fitting them into your model rather figuring out how to massage core principles into what they do.

Here we have multiple different swing types, yet their are core things they all have in common. As hitters/coaches, we need to focus on what they all do the same to build a swing/philosophy. It’s very dangerous to focus on one thing that one hitter does that very few, if any, others do and build off that. That’s a recipe for disaster. Find the similarities, then figure out how to get your body to do it.

After looking at the swings, can we find the similarity? Yes I am aware their are multiple, but let’s see if we can find the main one….

Posted @withregram • @catcherscentral I love this play. It really epitomizes this great position. It’s often times a thankless job until it’s not. These are the types of plays that get your team to follow you, the type of plays that lead to leadership. Effort in the little things gives you a platform in the big things. Something as simple as backing up the throw where you will never be thought of 99/100 times, but… that 1 time, makes all the difference. If they can trust you in the little moments, they will trust you when the lights are brightest. Effort never expires.

Greatness starts in your mind. It’s not just a sometimes thing, it’s an all the time thing. It’s a mentality that covers every fabric of your life. Greatness isn’t about achievement, is about preparation and intention where achievement becomes the bi-product. Greatness is a demand of yourself to the highest degree…it’s a lifestyle that then seeps into EVERYTHING you do both on and off the field. It’s about being the best coach/athlete you can be, the best husband/wife, father/mother, boyfriend/girlfriend, brother/sister, son/daughter, friend, student, co-worker or boss, it’s about being the best human you can be in all facets of life. Greatness doesn’t just do things to get by or to get through, greatness does things with a purpose and intention of being the best.

So the question is… are you preparing to be great?
