‘Bare Bones’

Who are we, really?

The absence of clothing in Bare Bones is not meant to suggest loss, but arrival. By removing all external markers of identity, status, style and expectation, the work asks “what remains when nothing is used to define the self?”.

A fine art photographic exploration of selfhood revealed through intentional reduction.

I’ve learned a tremendous amount about myself over this past decade. I’ve also met many different versions of myself, and through each one, I’ve steadily grown more and more into my manhood. I can wholeheartedly say that I’ve cherished every step of the way.

I’m much alive and present where my feet are. Curious as ever, with a deep desire to experience this life as fully and as authentically as I know how.

True self-belief is an inside job. It’s the foundation from which the life you envision can begin to transpire.

‘model confessionals’ vol. 2

receiving feedback and constructive criticism allows me to grow as an artist. last year, I started documenting more and asking each model I worked with (especially if it was our first time working together) to just give a few words expressing how their experience was. i implored that they could talk for as little or as long as they’d like, with the main takeaway being honest and genuine feedback

i believe these videos also provide another view of how individual personalities radiate through the camera. it was a true pleasure working with each and every one of these beautiful people
