🚲 Semaine de la Mobilité
À la BCLF (Belgian Cycle Logistics Federation), nous avons décidé cette année de mettre l’accent sur un sujet essentiel : la connaissance et le respect du code de la route.

Parce qu’une cohabitation sereine entre tou·te·s les usagers et usagères de la route passe avant tout par une bonne maîtrise des règles, nous relayons avec enthousiasme la campagne “T’as le code ?” lancée par Avello (ex-GRACQ).

👉 Il s’agit d’un quiz ludique qui permet à chacun·e — cycliste, automobiliste, piéton·ne, trottinettiste — de tester ses connaissances et, pourquoi pas, de remporter un des nombreux cadeaux mis en jeu.

🎁 À gagner : un séjour pour 2 personnes à l’Aquascope de Virelles, une sacoche Ortlieb, un cadenas Litelok, une réduction sur un vélo Sugg, et encore du matériel vélo, de visibilité et de camping.

Brussels leads Belgium’s cycle logistics sector!

🚛 60% of logistics activities happen in Brussels, compared to 35% in Flanders and just 5% in Wallonia.

But why?

❌ Traffic congestion & LEZ zones push businesses toward alternative solutions
Cycle logistics is expanding, driven by entrepreneurial innovation
🚴‍♂️ Cycle logistics is supported by improved cycling infrastructure
💡 Wallonia & Flanders still have huge potential!

While 25% of Belgium’s urban population lives in @walloniebe a, it has just 4.5% of cycle logistics!

🚀 @Vlaanderen also has opportunities in medium-sized cities, with 60% of the urban population being there.

🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ A huge shoutout to all our members at the Belgian Cycle Logistic Federation (BCLF)!

In 2023, we collectively cycled an incredible 8.2 million kilometers! 🌍 That’s nearly 10 trips to the Moon and back! 🚀 🌕

Their dedication to sustainable logistics and cycling is truly inspiring. This achievement is thanks in large part to our members—but not only them. It’s a team effort involving everyone who believes in the power of cycling! 🚲

As we kick off 2025, we acknowledge this milestone while looking ahead. Later this year, we’ll proudly share our 2024 achievements, and we’re eager to see what 2025 will bring!

What’s more, these 8.2 million kilometers represent more than just numbers:

Fewer vehicles on the road 🚗
Less pollution 🌱
Reduced noise 🛑🔊
Less congestion and space consumption in public areas 🌆
It’s a giant leap toward better cities and a better society! 🚴‍♀️🌍

- Fired via WhatsApp, without notice or final paycheck.

Black Friday deliveries: What’s the environmental cost? 🌍

Last Friday was Black Friday, and while the deals were hot 🔥, so were the emissions. The annual shopping frenzy doesn’t just boost sales—it also floods our cities with delivery trucks, creating a big environmental problem:

🚛 CO2 emissions: 94% more than an average week.
🌬️ Air pollution: increased NO2 and PM2.5, linked to asthma, heart, and lung disease
🚦 Traffic congestion impacting the economy
