Australia vs Ireland - what an experience! 🟢🟡

The few days in Sydney last week had me thinking a lot about everything I have gained from being involved in W football since 2016 - including meeting so many wonderful people!

Such an honour to be at the ASRC @asrc1 for the ‘hour of power’ today, on World Refugee Day.

So much humanity in one place, so much love to share.

Aila really wanted to make a donation so she brought $4 from her piggy bank and waltzed it straight over to @konkarapanagiotidis. She was very excited to be able to help 🥰

This year’s @fightmnd Big Freeze will be a bit different without the amazing Neale Daniher - a man I was privileged to meet and hear speak on a number of occasions.

Being a past slider, I’m very proud to be a very small part of what is a huge movement that Neale and his wonderful family have grown, all with the goal of finding a cure for ‘The Beast’.

The lessons learnt about the strength and courage to fight and ‘play on’, and the immense human spirit of Neale and his family, will continue to stick with me.

Beanies are selling out fast, but if you can’t get your hands on one, you can head to the FightMND website and grab yourself a digital beanie to show your support and continue the fight for a cure to MND. by @bdbrown50

RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS || Today, Pembroke welcomed almost 120 students from eight schools for our second Respectful Relationships Student Symposium - an initiative created by Pembroke students to inspire cultural change in schools.🧡

We were privileged to hear from inspiring guest speakers:
~ Daniel Principe (Youth advocate and educator)
~ Ben Brown (Champion AFL player, AFLW coach and social advocate)
~ Tarang Chawla (Youth and domestic violence advocate and educator)

Through powerful conversations, thoughtful questions and collaborative workshops, students explored how they can challenge toxic microcultures and help create safer, more respectful communities.

We are incredibly proud of all symposium delegates - especially our outstanding student leaders - and look forward to seeing the meaningful change they continue to lead.🤝

A very King Island, very family Easter 💙
