Pure joy golfing at the Mississippi with the CPHS retired teacher crew!

Extra bonus was having a spirited group of some of CPHS’s finest athletes playing in the two groups behind us!!!

Fun fact: almost the entire crew behind us played on Nancy Mills’ countless Volleyball championship teams (including this old dawg)… by @bdickster

Ride starts promptly at 5:45pm. We will ride the route that was posted for last week ~ I will repost.

Again, debrief post-ride will be at Stalwart’s (trivia night at Braumeister, so we will leave them be). by @bdickster

I continue to count my blessings as I was invited by Uber-Coaches Tom Marshall and Dale Huddleston to play in the EOSSAA Coaching Legends golf day.

This year we played in Verona at Rivendell. Our crew this year included Tom Marshall, Steve King, Jamie Bell, and me from CPHS, and Ron Hungerford from TISS, Pat Larry from Athens HS, and Dale Huddleston from Ernestown.

I continue to stand in the shadows of these men, and I am grateful for their leadership and friendship. by @bdickster

Thanks so much to Ro and the exceptional Braumeister staff for hosting the CHEO ride today. A crew of us rode from Braumeister in CP to the Braumeister Halle in Ottawa and back (106km). The weather and route was prime, and the food and and beverage was superb as always! by @bdickster

What a fun time at the Carleton Junction with my sister, Liz, and daughter-in-law, Delanie (and Alfie)
watching CPHS grad and professional wrestler, Chuck Bell, AKADark Horse, put on a show as part of Pumpkin Fest:)

With countless CPHS grads cheering him on, Chuck retained the championship belt!
