A selection of images from the past week of bikepacking in Icelands South West. All images, like most of my cycling pictures, were shot on iPhone while riding my bike. Thanks to @bikepacking.iceland for the great service of providing transfers and a great facility to unpack and pack our bikes and store our extra gear. Also, a big shout out to @joemammacycles for getting us dialled in before our departure. And thanks to @salsacycles for hooking @bdickster up with a warranty frame just days before our flight. Our original plan of doing Fjallback Track in the Highlands had to be cancelled due to closed roads but we still managed to get into the Highlands from the north rather than the south. The change in plans ended up allowing us to see a lot more of the countryside and the never ending change of landscape. We did 7 days of riding rolling from Keflavik and ending in Reykjavik covering about 610km. An awesome trip with a great crew of lads.

It was an exceptional weekend taking part in the @thelogdriverswaltz spring rally (ADV) Thanks so much to Eric and Jen for all their hard work organizing and facilitating these bike packing adventures. Such an awesome crew of misfits. We did a loop starting Friday night at Wesley Clover campground in Ottawa. Saturday we road to Carleton Place and then Almonte, Pakenham, Arnprior, Fitzroy, and then ferry to Qyon where we spent the night watching a bike polo tournament. Amazing! Then Sunday we pedalled through Gatineau Park to Wakefield, Chelsea, and back to Ottawa. @bdickster and I road in and out of the city to join the crew because why wouldn’t ya. Meeting so many wonderful people was definitely the highlight.
